Why I refuse to settle down and start a family in my 20's:

• I want to get more degrees

• I want to make more money

• I want to learn new skills

• I want to avoid dating a dusty

• I want to travel to new places

• I want to spoil myself a lot

• I want to make more time for myself

This is pretty much it if I summed it up, but I’m getting pretty close to 30 and then I feel like after that it’s like a countdown until you’re 40 and your eggs may not be usable anymore. so it’s just a countdown until I get a cat lol seriously though there are some goals I wanna meet before I get serious about trying to find someone to become close with because my endgame is getting married and having a great marriage like Barry and Iris kind of marriage. Because my emotions are only capable of that.

for some reason, Netflix is continuously canceling. The best high-ranking shows that they had I remember Shadow and Bone was number one for five weeks and it was highly anticipated for the Six of Crows to come out. I think it was everyone’s favorite part of the whole show even if you didn’t like the main storyline, you love the supporting characters. And then getting rid of Henry Cavill was the biggest and stupidest mistake that could’ve ever done. How could you get rid of someone because they were annoying, especially because they knew the games and the books and reliably acted exactly how you expected the character to be? I have to say that Netflix is starting to decline as a subscription provider and I think others will start to rise in weight for example I love watching Peacock and Paramount + shows. Also, HBO Max can always be relied upon to have some good content. But if you want to try something new, I suggest going to Viki Rakuten for some good C-dramas and K-dramas.

heyy love!! I wanted to know ways in which I can keep myself busy in alone time. I want to be busy with myself so I don't be desperate for someone else's company but I don't know where to start. could you please help me

Hi love! Here are some activities I suggest:

Reading a diverse array of books, articles, and essays on different topics and skills that interest you

Take a language, art, cooking, or professional skills-building course (like coding, graphic design, social media, etc.)

Take long walks and try out different workouts/workout programs

Get creative in the kitchen, try out new recipes and meal ideas

Create fun mood boards, playlists, etc. Refine your signature style, preferences, and aesthetic

Watch interesting movies, films, YouTube videos, and listen to different podcasts

Journal, write, draw, dance

Streamline your wardrobe, makeup, and beauty routines. Do a closet clean out, or rearrange your home decor. Experiment with makeup, hairstyles, nail designs

Get organized. Clean up your space, hygiene, and digital environments (phone, laptop, iPad, etc.)

Take time for self-reflection: Get to know yourself, your values, what you want out of life, what & who gives you energy, and those places or people that drain you

I just want to remind you that sometimes your life really doesn't begin until you are 26+... Romanticizing and obsessing over our youth is harmful. Growing up is beautiful. Discovering who you are and how you interact with the world is a gift. Maturing and learning what you truly want out of life and living in that purpose brings fulfillment and peace. Your life is not over in your early 20's because you haven't figured it out yet, it's just beginning.

I don't understand why more people don't comment on fics from a perfectly self serving perspective. Do readers not realise they are often the difference in how much fic they get from a writer they like in their fandom?

I don't know, maybe we are not supposed to say this as writers, given the prevaling write for yourself uwu culture these days, but I've had instances where I only meant to drop one fic for a small pairing and dip but that fic got such a warm reception -- and by that I don't mean hundreds of kudos, I mean a handful of people who took time out of their days to leave meaningful comments that went beyond 'I loved this!' -- that I ended up writing ten more. Conversely, I've written fics I was simply compelled to write but the reception was so lukewarm, I moved onto more fertile ground once the brain worms were satisfied, even though I had ten more ideas I could have explored for the same pairing. And I've seen so many other writers do the same.

I personally don't comment on every fic I read -- exhaustion gets in the way -- so it would be hypocritical for me to expect the same of anyone else, but man, it baffles me that other people don't strategise in their commenting, that when they see a writer they love they don't go extra hard on fics that don't have much interaction or for writers that are a bit more needy -- yet another thing one does utter in polite society -- not out of any sense of gratitude or anything like that but just to get more good fic, just from perfect selfishness.

I personally love reading fan fictions, it the best way to get more from a story or show that you loved. I’m not brave enough to write yet, for now I read.

So, having been a reader, of Fanfiction and just books in general for a long time, I can understand how people can be moved to a certain emotion which leads them to comment in a very critical way. Trust me I get it but I have been in the common section and sometimes I’m like: ‘seriously you could’ve just read something else’. People can be so harsh when judging others and often forget that people are just doing this for fun or because they just love the original story so much they wanted to expand upon it.

In that spirit here are some criteria that some people should follow when deciding to comment on fan-fiction (and maybe everything else).

𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

1. 𝚁𝙴𝙼𝙴𝙼𝙱𝙴𝚁 𝚃𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝚃𝙷𝙸𝚂 𝙸𝚂 𝙰 𝙵𝙰𝙽-𝙵𝙸𝙲𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽

•I can not stress this is enough, people are just doing this for either their own amusement or because they want to practice their skills in writing ✍️, in other words this is not going to be published so please don’t take what you are reading so seriously!! This brings me to my next rule➡️

2. 𝙾𝙽𝙻𝚈 𝙲𝙾𝙼𝙼𝙴𝙽𝚃 𝙾𝙽 𝚂𝙿𝙴𝙻𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝙶𝚁𝙰𝙼𝙼𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙲𝙰𝙻 𝙴𝚁𝚁𝙾𝚁𝚂 𝚆𝙷𝙴𝙽 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙰𝚄𝚃𝙷𝙾𝚁 𝙰𝚂𝙺𝚂 𝙵𝙾𝚁 𝙸𝚃

• This is a hard one for even I to remember. I once commented on a writers work, thinking, I was being helpful, but I ended up hurting their feelings, and we argued back-and-forth for way too long. Sometimes writers just want to post their work and get feedback on the story and not necessarily on how they write. So unless you’re an editor to a publishing house, keep your comments to yourself . If the author asks for criticism they usually they make a post in the beginning, or at the end of a chapter, or the story itself, asking for feedback, or even to point out their errors for correction.  It’s also helpful to remember that not everyone who posts fan-fiction uses English as a first language.

• I think this is self-explanatory, but some people just can’t help themselves. It doesn’t do yourself any service to comment on someone else’s work in a negative way especially if it’s not constructive and not requested. In the end, you’ll only end up, looking like a Internet troll. In which I don’t understand why someone would waste time writing out something so negative about something that they had the option to bypass.

I seriously love her! She seriously informs us about what we should be doing information we should be learning and how we should be moving for the future. I do think that we should seriously you should be watching her on a daily. I’m not saying she’s the law on money making investing but she damn sure has some good tips so make sure you tune in to her.
