Ian Chesterton -> The Chase
“I don’t understand…” “Neither do I, Peri. The universe is… chaotic. A mystery…”
I got The Reaping from the Big Finish offers last week. Needless to say the ending left me crying like a baby.
My interpretation of a fun little scene from the excellent Big Finish audio, The Emerald Tiger. Oh, Turlough - don’t you look dapper!
Ghost Light - Deleted Scene
ACE: Professor, how do you dial out on this thing?
DOCTOR: Ace, don’t touch that!
ACE: Why not? It’s my initiative test.
DOCTOR: You’ll give us away. These days trespassers end up in Newgate.
ACE: The prison?
DOCTOR: Yes. It took me three weeks to get out the last time. Now give me that phone. Get off.
PERSON ON THE LINE: Who’s there?
DOCTOR: Eh, sorry. Wrong number!
Ace -> The Greatest Show in the Galaxy
Romana II -> Meglos
Going through some of the tags here reminded me The Empire of Glass, which I remember reading about in Doctor Who Magazine (I don't know if I ever got to read the book at the time as it wasn't easy to get them in the US). I love that Andy Lane tapped into the same feelings about Steven which so many brilliant fic writers have now, even though there were less Steven episodes available at the time and the audios were likely more difficult to come by. It tells you there is something intrinsic in the performance and stories which draws generations to the character when they find him.
second doctor in person
Steven Regret and dodo dupont!!
Very silly thing to be emotional about but going through some of the episodes and clips of Peter on Blue Peter I realized after years of the most '70s hair ever he ended his run with the exact same cut he had when he joined (his Steven hairstyle basically)
