Hello everyone! After looking through the 123 submissions, I present to you your 48 contenders:

They were organized in 12 groups using the same method as the Football World Cup. That means that 12 leaders were selected (in this case, the bands with the most amount of nominations); after that, the rest of the positions were selected at random to fill each group.

For the first round...

There will be 12 polls (one for each group), and the 2 most voted bands in each one are going straight to the second round. Now, from the 12 bands that occupy the third place, the top 8 (the 8 bands with the most amount of votes) will also pass to the second round.

From the second round onwards, we'll have the usual A vs B

The polls will start the 19th at 5 pm CST. Good luck, everyone! :)

I finally finished this piece of "Thin White Duke" era David Bowie this Friday past for my art class this semester. I believed this version/image of Bowie would be perfect for my conté-based project; his stoicism here evokes an intensely cold emotion.
