Could he care less about this? Really now. He had to actually entertain the notion for a moment so as not to grow completely bored out of his mind. This was too tedious for his liking and he was, to be perfectly honest, tired of this. He was tired of playing this part, of having to submit as a servant to that br--to his master. His highness. Was all this really going to be worth it in the end? The wasted days, weeks, months, years? Just for  a soul he needed to carve and shape to his own liking? He was starting to find it immensely hard to believe that all this trouble and needless display just for his--and maybe her sake--would hardly be worth it. Maybe.

He supposed that only time--could it really go any slower--would tell.
