Hot takes on education
Does anyone want to be a beta reader for my 85k ya fanasty manuscript
my journal flipthrough
didn’t expect so many new people to follow me from my last post, where i wrote about not posting anymore on this account lol
Some of the spreads in my journal this year. how is everyone? how are you celebrating christmas? has this year been challenging? I hope you get to rest now, at least for a while. please take care. in the coming year, it’s likely i move on completely from this account, but of course it’s uncertain. i have loved this community for a while now, but I think it’s best to retire out of it, but whether or not I’ll be here, I wish you all the best. idk how i amassed a sizable following on this account (though most are inactive now, i’m sure), but it’s been an interesting ride and I’m more likely than not to make random reappearances. but I’m done promising “i’ll be back,” because I don’t think many people will be affected by me coming on or not, anyway. I’ll probably do another post soon lol, I’m just a little dramatic. You can find me elsewhere, such as on my YouTube channel, my culture podcast (or here) or on Instagram (or here). I would be so happy to see you guys on any of these other platforms. If you want some sisterly advice on academia and what not, don’t hesitate. finally, I’d like to just tag some really cool people that are active so you should follow them if you haven’t already: @boldlystudy @indecs @huitingreads @jeonchemstudy @athenastudying @diaryofastemstudent @asteristudy @studylustre @smilestudy @einstetic

17122022 - amore amore amore today. found a new cafe and now it’s one of my favourite places. tried black coffee for the first time ever (god, how people drink that? i had to add lots of sugar!) started studying english literature history and played chess with my new friend.
The sheer satisfaction of discarding a completed timetable!! Now it’s just me and my Philosophy readings until 2022 ♡
Listen to this episode from Head in the Clouds on Spotify. In the part three of the podcast's K-Pop Deep Dive, we discuss the inadequacies of the K-Pop industry specifically as it pertains to underage idols and talents. In particular, we shed light onto the lyrics of Park Ji Yoon's "Adult Ceremony," question the age of new girl group "IVE," and argue that trainees are mistreated and perhaps shouldn't debut until they're older. Hi! I hope you don’t mind me sharing more of my personal content here :) I’m very proud of the K-Pop series I made with my beloved friend, G, and I just uploaded another episode of it. If you have the time and have an interest in pop culture and K-Pop in specific, I would love if you gave it a shot. Thank you, hope you are well, and I’ll be back here with some updates on life, work, and my bullet journal!

this is your sign to open the doors on your own. sometimes they’re not locked like you think they are. put in the effort :)
09282021. This was last week's spread using a sticker sheet called "Meow" by the Suatelier Design brand. I love this brand, their stickers are so cute and minimal. I'm actually hoarding a bunch of sticker sheets because they are tooo damn cute to be used, but the sticker sheets I have more than 2 of (like this one) I've been able to be strong and use up. lol.
It's starting to get cold
// autumn studying challenge ; day seventeen
outside or inside?
mostly inside! i love getting out into nature and getting fresh air, but it’s much cosier inside.
// day eighteen
sunny autumn days or rainy autumn days?
definitely sunny - i love days that are sunny and cold and crisp.
// day nineteen
pumpkin spice lattes or hot chocolate?
hot chocolate for the win! i don’t like coffee or tea, so hot chocolate’s my go to warm winter drink.
10.23.21 | I wonder if there’s a word for the passing of days feeling both fast & interminable at the same time. I’m sure there must be. It’s honestly how I’ve been feeling for the past couple of weeks. While I was able to accomplish a lot of things on my to do lists, every single task just took so much longer than I thought it would. That could either be a testament to how poorly I manage my time, or how unrealistic I am with my daily goals.
Featured above are two of my current reads: American Gods by Neil Gaiman, & The Ballad of Reading Gaol and Other Poems by Oscar Wilde. I’m getting through them slowly as I can only spare an hour or less on reading these days. But no matter how little or how much I read, it always helps to make me feel somewhat saner.
