âI was raised feral, and I mostly stayed that way.â
She did not need much, wanted very little. A kind word, sincerity, fresh air, clean water, a garden, kisses, books to read, sheltering arms, a cozy bed, and to love and be loved in return.

bbl. have to go to college.
I am so afraid of disappointing the people I love, I often forget that I am someone I love too. And I need kindness just as much as I believe the people I love do.

I care. I care a lot. Itâs kinda my thing.

I realize after his touch he would know me years from now, even in the dark, even without my skin.

âplease, CONTINUE.â percyâs eyes flitted all over the scene, hoping to take in every last detail from the pattern of the womanâs dress to the soft melodic tune she sang. he knew not of the song, but her VOICE made him wished he had. many nights were spent at the opera with his family, fidgeting in his seat as he tried to stand the SHRILL singing. but her voice, oh, it was different. it flowed through the words rather than PIERCED them and made percyâs heart warm.
sure, sheâd love some audience whoâd be interested in her voice. however, heâs a total stranger and somehow, cleoâs still adjusting to the thought of heâs not from her household to give him a one on one concert right now. the singer abruptly turned around to avoid his gaze. if heâd have a closer look, heâd probably notice how red her face was. with a deep breath, cleo turned to face him. â i--- actually have a lot to do! â she grinned nervously at the man.

After months of trying to figure out what was best, Theo had come to. a conclusion. Perhaps starting over was the best option. He was searching for something, Lord only knew what. And with another life behind him, perhaps the so called ship of dreams was just what he needed.Â
But luck was not on Theoâs side. He had settled into his room, all well and fine, and set out to find a comfortable spot to wait to set sail. That was, until she walked right by. Cleo.Â
âWhat luck we have.â He said slowly, starting to stand. It would be impolite to ignore her all together.
how long had it been since they last saw each other? since they last called it QUITS. when they both gave up t r y i n g to rekindle the memory they once treasured. the treasure thatâs forever lost. a few months ago, she promised that theyâd still get in touch. maybe just keep the relationship as friends. or in their case, acquaintance. for sure, theo didnât want anything to do with her, or even see her. because thereâs just NO love that they both had for each other left.Â
to her surprise, theo responded. him being on the ship was one thing. itâs funny how fate decide to play with them two.Â
âi got offered a job.â she said casually, hoping that it wonât be AWKWARD for the two of them. âi get to sing here and iâll probably go for broadway as soon as this ship reaches to new york.â she shrugged. âhow about you? what are you doing here?â
kitcalla:
kit swallowed HARD hearing the other girlâs voice from behind the closed door. her hands trembled as she rattled the door knob, easing the door open, âuh⊠thank you.â kit looked down at her shoes, the situation out of her control which FRIGHTENED her beyond belief.Â
cleo noticed the way that the girl responded her & she could sense the tension. cleo didnât mean to eavesdrop nor make the female feel uncomfortable just because she heard her voice. â youâre welcome! â she smiled from ear to ear. wanting to kill the dead air, she chuckled. â how long have you been singing? â
seraphinvs:
âoh, dear!â seraphina exclaimed, entering her room to see the girl lounging on her bed. âdo i have the wrong room? iâm terribly sorry.â she attempted to pick up all her bags, scrambling to get out of the room. âi didnât mean to invade your privacy.â
âoh, no! please donât leave.â cleo was quick to her feet as she rushed towards the door frame. âplease, itâs not my room to begin with.â she insisted, clutching the handle of the girlsâ bag in her hands as she ushered her into the room. âi was just checking out this room...â
thexmia:
At first, Mia wasnât so excited to accompany her father - the captain of the ship - on his voyage but now when she was on the board and in her room, she was more than excited. Jumping to the bed full of cushions, she laughed. âWell - if this is the second class room, Iâm quite curious how looks the first class.â she said to herself with a satisfied giggle.
cleo still had a lot of time before she could go on with her work. thankfully, it was to fun to have someone around in such a lonely state, since sheâs the only fortunate one in her family who gets to ride the fancy thing. âabout that... i actually got her earlier and had a peek of the rooms in the first class.â she grinned excitedly.Â
whether or not sheâs working, whatever she does & wherever she goes, cleo would always hum and sing some songs to spare her time. when she was a kid, sheâd be conscious about her voice & get stage fright whenever she joined singing contest. although now, she still gets shy when someone outside from her relations hear her sing.
âTell me I'm your baby, and you never leave me. Tell me that you'll kiss me forever. Whisper that you love me. Have you ever leave me? Be mine for always, I'll be yours forever. Tell me I'm your baby, and you never leave me. Tell me that you'll kiss me, forever.â she sang with her hearts out, as if she didnât care if someone out there was listening to her. she went on and on until she noticed a pair of eyes watching her. thatâs when she STOPPED.
@pcrcys.
ok so i still owe a lot of people some threads for our plots lol. but i gotta prepare for school so iâll probs come back later!
itâs been a while since she last heard a soothing & relaxing voice like hers. she always thought that her motherâs voice was the greatest. but after hearing the girlâs voice just from behind the door frame, she could tell that the girl had a lot of POTENTIAL on her. cleo could just imagine her in musicals & they would love her. âi thought i heard an angel singing.â she grinned widely.

asher-bennett:
Asher watches a young woman disappear into his room and takes a moment to stop in his tracks and look at the slip of paper in his hand. His eyes go from the small plate reading his room number and back to the slip of paper. âExcuse me?â He peaks from around the door frame, âIâm afraid thereâs been a mix up of rooms.â He does his best not to chuckle at her excitement.Â
if her eyes could only pop, it would explode from embarrassment as soon as she heard a man spoke from the door frame. hell, if he could only see her right now, he would probably think that sheâs anything related to a tomato. with that, she quickly sat up and avoided his gaze. âno! thereâs no mix up of rooms. i was just checking if the bedâs... fine for you to sleep on!â she clasped her hands together & stood, still avoiding his gaze. âi better get going.â
nancyiisms:
â Iâd say itâs a bit excessive, but then again, what do I know?â Nancyâs parents had gone out to meet with a pair of company partners in a different cabin, so sheâd been left to her own devices. Her parents had given her the whole spiel ( âdonât leave, weâre trusting you to stay put and behaveâ etc ) and sheâd decided to listen for ONCE. Besides, she was almost done with her novel.Â
â Would you like one? I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but I really ought to not eat this all on my own. Corsets are awful enough as it is, and Iâll âruin my figureâ or something like that.â she rolls her eyes, gesturing to the box of chocolates on the table next to her chair.Â
cleo could already feel heat rushing through her face, soon, sheâd be as red as a tomato. for a moment, she thought that place was vacant because everything was orderly placed to its belonging. then she recalled, this is the room of first class. of course, everything had to be fancy. even if itâs a mere luggage. she would have mistaken it as part of a ship.Â
the person who just spoke, however, didnât mind. still, the embarrassment is real. she could just go & make a run for it or stay & accept the nice offer. for cleo, the latter semmed like a better option. âthanks!â she took a piece of chocolate in the box. thankfully, sheâs just a crew here. âi never really thought that the myths about chocolates are true.â she chuckled, popping the sweet in her mouth.
