Hey guys! If you were at our meetup last night, then you know about NEOhio Homestuck’s merger with ClevelandStuck. We are now one and the same (A Great Four-Headed Dragon!) and have created new pages!
Please follow this new blog and like our Facebook Page for future meet-ups! The old fb page and blog for NEOhio Homestuck will be deleted the week of Thanksgiving.
It's true! We will be merging with NEOhio Homestuck to form the new super group, Northern Ohio Homestuck! We'll be taking time to merge into the new blog and Facebook Page, so go like/follow those pages to keep up to date with everything we'll be doing in the future!
ZOMBIESTUCK MEETUP IS A GO!!!!!
WHAT? Our annual Zombie meetup! I’m calling the venue soon to confirm one last time, but this meet-up is happening! Here’s a link to the FB Event page so you can RSVP there. Please RSVP as soon as you possibly can! I need a headcount for the venue.

WHEN Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 6pm-9pm
ZombieStuck is our meet-up that has a Zombie/Dead Character theme. You do not have to cosplay to the theme, or cosplay at all, but these events are usually more enjoyable when more people cosplay than not. That being said, please be sure to seal your makeup (whether it’s standard troll paint, or fake/zombie blood). This is a restaurant and we want to leave it as clean and pretty as when we arrive.
Please feel free to bring a friend/family with you! Just be sure to tell me so that I can update the venue so there aren’t seating issues like last year’s meet-up. (We just got too big for the trolley.) I am so sorry that I couldn’t get venues or keep up with our formal meet-ups this year. It really kills me that I couldn’t do my 3rd anniversary meetup, but life happened and being an adult was not fun at the time (let’s leave it at that).

I hope everyone is as excited as I am! I'm about to head out so I can get there nice and early to meet everyone. A few things to remember today.
We are going to be OUTSIDE, I suggest you bring SUNSCREEN. Even if you 'don't burn' UV radiation can still damage your skin. I will have spray sunscreen with me that I am more than happy to share.
There is also going to be a lot of walking, make sure that you bring comfortable shoes. Even if you have super badass ones for cosplay, bring comfortable ones to switch into if your feet start hurting.
Also, I suggest bringing a water bottle, something to stay hydrated. If you have enough money I suggest getting a glass bottle for refillable soda at one of the venues.
ALSO ALSO! This place is in the woods! Cell reception is spotty at best! Tell anyone you need to check with in this in case they can't get a hold of you.
Again, the meetup is going to be at the front gate, 10:30-11:30 outside of it before we go in, and again 1:30-2 right inside of it. I can't wait to see you there!

Medieval Faire Takeover is TOMORROW!!

Medieval Faire Takeover UPDATES
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know that if you'd like to join us at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire this Saturday (Wow, that's coming up so fast!) that we're going with the $17 group admission rate instead of the previously stated $30 tickets.
The $17 admission rate will only get you through the door, but it is cheaper than the $22 that they normally charge for admission. It won’t get us a meal and use of the pavilion, but we’ve decided this is probably a better option for everyone after all.
I will need to know if you’re planning on going/need your ticket money by Wednesday, August 13th so I can call them on Thursday and tell them how many people we need tickets for. If we can’t hit a minimum of 10 people for the $17 group admission rate, everyone will need to pay the $22 admission on their own to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire when they get to the gate.
Sorry for the last minute changes everyone, but hopefully the cheaper cost will help all of us on a budget be able to come with us!

Medieval Faire Takeover!
Hey everyone! Clevelandstuck is hosting a meetup at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire on Saturday, August 16th. Group admission is $30 which includes lunch, the pavillion, and being included in the various shows the performers put on, but we need to pay in advance. If you know for sure you can go, please let one of the admins know and send your money via Paypal to [email protected]. If you have any issues, please contact me (Ilona) and I’ll be happy to help. Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan on coming so we can tell the Faire how many people to expect in our group. RSVP here!
This is a cosplay meetup, but as it is at the Medieval Faire you are welcome to wear whatever you would like, whether it's Medieval era wear or normal clothing. It will also be outside in August, so the weather is unpredictable- be prepared for rain or shine, and make sure you seal your paint if you use body paint! Props are allowed as long as they are not live weapons capable of hurting anyone and are tied closed (for swords, specifically) but most are checked at the gate and handled on a case by case basis. Basically, if you have doubts about your prop being allowed in a family friendly area, you might want to just leave it at home. This area is fantastic for cosplay photos and impromptu photo shoots, and also has many activities you can participate in including archery, axe throwing, jousting, etc. There are also a lot of live shows that we’ll be able to participate in since we’re part of a party group, you may be able to participate on stage with the performers. This is also a family friendly event, so you’re welcome to bring your family and friends with you. Clevelandstuck is an open and affirming group that respects all identities. We ask that all of our attendees do the same.

Our 3rd annual CastleStuck meet-up at Squire’s Castle MetroParks. Our Theme this year (by popular vote) is Human-Stuck. That is not to say that you aren’t allowed to come as a normal troll if you want to! This is a PAINT-FRIENDLY event. You are all welcome to come in paint or to come as human versions. As usual, this is also a potluck event. Yoko will be providing Pizza (1 plain cheese and 1 pepperoni). ClevelandStuck admins will also be joining us! They will be providing some basic beverages. If you would like to bring a beverage, dessert, or food, please feel free! This is also an event that is family-friendly. If your parents, siblings, friends, or anyone else would like to join, please bring them, as well!. NEOhio Homestuck is an open and affirming group that respects all identities. We ask that all of our attendees do the same.
Reminder that Castlestuck is this Sunday everyone! The Clevelandstuck admins will be happily joining NEOhio Homestuck for fun, food, and cosplay shenanigans.

THIS IS A PAINT-SAFE EVENTS! You can be in body paint, but please seal it!
The only thing that hasn’t been decided about this meetup is the theme! So, do you guys want a theme? Last year was WeddingStuck. The idea for the theme of Homestuck AUs was brought up at Colossalcon.
