[Before I go any further, I would just like to highlight how gorgeous this set is; this post is in no way a commentary or reflection on its beauty or the skill of the maker. That being said:]

Does this bother anyone else? "For Frodo", they say, but let's just stop and think for a second here. Yes, Frodo was carrying the ring, but let's just reflect on his own words at the end of The Two Towers: "Frodo wouldn't have got far without Sam."

Far? I think you mean "there at all". Because let's be real, how many times over did Samwise Gamgee save Frodo Baggins' life? He even saved the Ring from falling into enemy hands. Even after Frodo tells him to go home and puts his trust in Gollum instead of the one person who would literally walk to the ends of the earth for him (and did just that, while we're at it), Sam literally fights of a mthrfckn ginormous demon spider and takes on a whole band of orcs and goblins to rescue him. Not once does he think of himself, or worry about anyone but Frodo.

But it's "For Frodo". Just Frodo.

Also can I just point out that Frodo would have buggered off with the Ring and become Gollum 2.0, or fallen to his death in Mount Doom, if not for Sam. Admittedly, yes, Gollum plays his part here, but the point is sound: Frodo does not destroy the Ring.

He carried it, yes, but he did not destroy it.

If Sam hadn't loyally stayed so unwaveringly by his side, Frodo never would have gotten even halfway to Mordor.

For Frodo?

No.

For Sam.

I have been thinking of making some of Miguel, as well as the other cast members.
