Some do feel as if they gain a deeper understanding by knowing the history of the work, while others could care less. I honestly don't feel it effects you one way or the other; as some works are meant to be entirely subjective and at the discretion of the viewer. I would know, for that was the topic in which I penned my PhD dissertation on. As lovely as that is, I still have to disappoint you by once again informing you that I am completely and unquestionably straight as they come.

I don’t understand art. I wish I did. I’m sure every piece of art has it’s own story but I can’t seem to understand them. The accent is sexy to people. Will be to me as well.

Like I said, Mate. You don't have to understand the arts. Some derive pleasure simply from viewing the pieces, and others enjoy creating art of their own. I don't know about that, you may hear it and feel it's god awful; bloody fucking hell on your ears.

Well now I don't think one has to understand the arts to proper appreciate them. I swear the accent thing has been amusing as all hell since I have relocated to the states. I would be ugly as the dear queens backside so long as I had my charming accent.

Ah, it's always refreshing to hear that my art inspires others to explore their more creative sides. Nonsense, painting is something that can be honed with much practice. I have seen many people turned into academic artisans with proper training.
