The buttonholes on this dress were fraying, so I reinforced them with blanket stitch. They aren't the prettiest, but hopefully they will hold.

Saw one of the original prints of this today at the British Museum, but I was with my Grandma, and she wouldn't understand the Weezer reference 😔

A happy coincidence - I was thinking about a tatting kit one of my aunts gave me when I was a young teenager, but I ended up donating it to a charity shop because I thought it seemed too difficult. I thought I would I have liked to try again now, and then my Grandma found a similar one while she was cleaning out a cupboard and she gave it to me 😄
