#Repost @beatchain • • • • • • Beatchain users Novakaine and Clipsmoke join forces for this week's Beat of The Week. Their song ‘Ching Ching’ is a stripped back but powerful hip-hop track with a sing-along chorus. We reached out to Novakine to ask more about the track and its origins. . "It's produced by Clipsmoke and features El Jefe. The song came about pretty much organically, I got the beat from Clipsmoke and one day I woke up with the phrase 'ching ching' in my head. On my drive to work, I put together the chorus and the rest is history. Around the time the song was made, a few people had told me I couldn't rap over a trap beat and should stick to boom-bap. I took it as a challenge and made sure that although I'm using a different cadence my lyrics were still filled with metaphors, punch lines and pop culture references. I knew the hook was catchy and I had to make sure my verse was undeniably hot. El Jefe, the featured artist is my cousin who is honestly one of the main reasons I make music. I knew he would take care of business and that he did." . Do you have any advice for other Beatchain users, how are you using the Beatchain features? . "I love the ease of use of Beatchain. The social feature is key because I have all of my platforms together in one place where I can monitor them. I can see which kind of content my followers respond to and then determine my next move. It's a vital piece of my musical chessboard." .
