Watching this amazing silent movie with John Barrymore as Dr. Jekyll - I was surprised how Barrymore reminded me of Knick-era Clive Owen! So many looks and mannerisms totally struck me - hey, it's Thack! Especially when Jekyll runs out of his needed drug- oh it's a true Thack drug panic going on. Hyde even visits an opium den to close out the Knick-ism's. Be sure to watch this movie! It's a classic silent horror flick!

If The Knick was made into a comedy Kevin Kline would have been a great Dr Thackery! If you haven’t seen Soapdish you need to catch it! Kline plays a soap opera doctor and he’s hilarious!

This is a brownstone in NYC which looks just like Thackery’s home! It’s actually Teddy’s Roosevelts childhood home at 28 E 20th St, New York, NY 10003. But when I toured it I couldn’t help to see Thackery ‘in the house’! Its about a 15 minute walk from Thackery’s fictional residence at 34 Waverly Pl, New York, NY 10003. A must see for KNICK fans!!
