Been doing a lot of work on a big Mothership RPG project lately, and I had to kind of figure out a new mechanic that interacts with the rest of the module in a way that engages with both roleplay and the mechanics in such a way that they feed into each other. While Warped Beyond Recognition's psionic rules are the best example for what I want, I also don't want to straight up copy their structure. The possibility of creating a vestigial mechanic is not unwelcome, but I wonder how it'll play. Much to think about.

Blog maintenance
Clearing out this blog of old stuff, not sure if I wanna get rid of some stuff given a couple of things this dusty blog has been used for. I might want to do some stuff for Mothership going forward, but I might mix it up every so often.

Youâve never believed in monsters or the supernatural, but you do love a little adventure, and your best friend has asked for your help exploring the abandoned hotel deep in the forest outside of town.Â
Who could have thought that youâd end up catching the attention of 3 different residents who roam the empty rooms of the hotel?
Hungry for attention, fill their hearts before you end up filling their stomachs instead.
Important! The game does not contain explicit NSFW scenes, however, the content is intended for 18+ audiences due to its sensitive topics, fictional violence, and highly suggestive scenes and dialogue.

I feel like you could potentially really enjoy cult of the lamb, if you don't know it it's a lil lamb who has to defeat a bunch of gods while they build up a strong cult following to unlock more things, I recently bout it and have been doing nothing else since(hardly an over exaduration)
i am well fucking aware of cult of the lamb.
It's not pickpocketing, it's called borrowing.
Don't leave us hanging! What happened to Sparks in the last session? What's this about an augmented man???
Admittedly I have not been using this blog as proper campaign notes so there's quite a bit missing from the context of the things I talk about. I have much more notes in my Mothership app đ
HOWEVER I'm ready to yap at all times.
The Augmented Man was a source of conflict all the way back, over 2 in-game years ago, at the end of our first Shore Leave. Adolfo met with his ex-girlfriend at a diner to talk (about their possible future, which she did not seem to want to pursue. sad đ). After she had left, a man covered in military-grade exoskeleton and slickware came into the diner, and without warning, immediately impaled the cashier onto the ticket stabber. And then forced his way into the back to dunk one of the chefs' heads into the fryer.
Adolfo, ever vigilant, sprung into action to stop him; the Augmented Man would only reply by reciting advertisements, like walking commercials for Astroman (brand of cleaning fluid) or Clarion (phone-service provider).
The Augmented Man absolutely CURB-STOMPED Adolfo. He is our Marine. He's our strongest player, full stop. Adolfo could not stop him alone. Percival came in for back-up, and just barely distracted him long enough for the Station Security to detain him.
Just before he was dragged away, the Augmented Man spoke his first words that weren't some old product slogan, whispering to Percival.
"Who Is It That Drags This Corpse Around?"
And ever since, we've been hearing that phrase over and over and over again...
Sonia got a virus (right before our trip to Ukweli-4) that took over her command prompt and temporarily gave her a full black-out, which mentioned this phrase.
We eventually figured out that she picked up this virus from accessing the cameras in and around Avalon (the fantasy-themed Net Den Jonesy works at as an "artist", utilizing his Imagine Reality and Illusions). It just so happened that certain Avalon players haven't logged in for quite a while, three players in Jonesy's guild.
Jonesy also took off, asking his other friends to lie to Sparks about where he went. She got the information out of them eventually. Jonesy left to visit the Wattcolmbe Slickdev Office, looking for a glitched player that goes by Anzu, and perhaps to figure out where his friends went himself.
Sparks went to Wattcolmbe, along with Percival, Bob, and Rox (the Android Enkidu provided us while Adolfo is finishing the job on Ukweli-4). She had to get Jonesy, make sure he was safe.
The Augmented Man entered the building as well (either eventually released, or escaped), smashing his way through the first floor of the office.
And eventually, Sparks's skull.
We all made a big red-string corkboard to try and get our thoughts together (which I've redrawn, but is already a bit out of date, as we have more information now).
In the PokĂŠmon world, there is a wide variation of eye colors that can go from the common ones such as brown, blue, black, green, to colors like pink, red, purple, etc.
In old times it was rumored that encounters with Legendary PokĂŠmon would leave the person âmarkedâ, some saw this as a blessing and others as a bad omen. While there is no scientific proof, there are also some that suggest people with certain eye combos have affinities to specific PokĂŠmon types, are naturally good at finding evolutionary stones, or simply seem to attract trouble wherever they go.
The eye marks can be inherited like any other recessive physical trait, or appear seemingly at random. While there have been registered cases of, for example, trainers whose eyes took a rainbow shine after an unexplainable encounter or researchers who get an extra purple after repeated close encounters with ghost types, there is still no specific method that guarantees a change will happen. Â
The most common way these marks show is in a variation of color combinations, either constantly visible or a color pattern only visible when bright lights reflect on the eyes.
A more uncommon mark is shapes like beautymarks, but inside the iris. They tend to be simple shapes like stars, swirls, and dots, but there have been cases of more elaborate shapes, the oddest ones presenting with oddly shaped pupils.
None of the above aspects seems to influence the person's vision, positively or negatively.Â
The mythos have died down in modern days, but there are still some who strongly believe the marks have a special connection to the PokĂŠmon creatures.
The full drawing, absolutely love it, still can't believe how good this came out.

This is my game submission for the RPG Maker Horror Game Jam #10: Theatre of the Grotesque and The Themed Horror Game Jam #21.Â
Unfortunately, just when the jam started I had a surprise moving , so I pretty much had to put this together between packing boxes and last week of June.Â
It's a very early demo! And does not portray the final quality I was aiming for.Â
Also I hope there are no game breaking bugs, I tested all I could but it is entirely possible bugs will pop up.Â
I have not tested the Web browser version nor the Mac, so if you can I highly recommend you download the Windows version.
If you like it a positive Rating and a Comment would be super cool of you đđ
Iâm making you all watch Hawkzombie play The Fool must Die, sorry there is no way out.
In all seriousness, very happy Hawkz played my game, you all should totally watch his streams, he is one of my fav game streamers and deserves all the support (and no, Iâm not saying that only because he plays my games, he is legit a cool, funny guy that is very supportive of smaller and indie devs).
I thought y'all might like to see Niagara Falls lit up for Pride.
Hope you had a good one!
Ooo hit us with the killer thoughts!!
Thank you for enabling me anon.
No proof reading because I am very tired.
General warnings for fictional death mentions, blood, killing, etc, your usual in the creepy pasta fandom.
I think the issue with Jeff along other classic pastas, is the want to approach them as ârealisticâ, because they are very far from it, that's why Jeff feels so flawed narratively, because through a real life lens he is admittedly ridiculous and hard to believe, especially if you add how he seems to be strong enough to fight Slenderman and other supernatural creatures, doesnât seems to age, etc.
My way of seeing it is, in the creepy pasta universe, there are moments where a human does something so horrifying that they lose their humanity and turn into a type of supernatural being. Think of it as how some people turn into ghosts after dying, but not everyone does, most move on, and there is no guarantee a person will remain as a ghost after dying.
The same applies to characters like Jeff, there was a high chance he would simply die after the incidents, but instead, he changed after checking all the unseen requirements to transform...
I dunno what possessed me to draw this but here, please have a Prionid, I love this lil guy.

This year I decided to try beat the game jam curse and give it another go and hopefully shake off the creator dread.
So hey, third time is the charm đ¤
No name yet but I am putting together concepts so I have something solid once the jam starts, might go back to streaming the making of assets and such.
