DESCRIBE YOURSELF ON ANON AND ILL SAY IF ID DATE YOU
(gender, age, height, eye colour, hair colour, interests, ideal date, etc.)
A wild Frisk has approached you with an armful of snowballs! What will you do?
*Act -Compliment "Did you make all of those yourself? They look great! I could never make properly round ones like you have there. It doesn't snow properly where I come from."
They followed her gaze upwards, staring at the ceiling in silence.
“I heard a few things… A lot of times from the kids at school… They thought it would be funny to try and scare me.“ Children could be quite cruel, after all, especially to those they perceived as weak or different. Frisk being as quiet as they were, often found themself the center of much unwanted attention. “I wasn’t really scared, though,“ they continued, briefly puffing up their cheeks in defiance, “and I don’t think monsters are scary either.“
The child fell silent for a moment, glancing at her thoughtfully out of the corner of their eye. “Hey… Do you think the monsters here are all bad? I know that there was a war, and a lot of terrible things happened, but… A lot of the monsters are just like people, aren’t they? Even the mean ones are just acting the way they are because they’re trapped down here, right? And some of them aren’t mean at all- like Toriel.“ A frown. “I feel bad for them. I know some want to hurt me, but it’s just because they want to be free. I think humans would act the same way if they did this to us.“
They paused after that, their mood suddenly solemn. It was only when Frisk’s side was nudged that a smile tugged at their features. “I’m eleven!“ They declared, their voice tinged with the sort of pride only a kid could have. “That means I’m almost an adult- I’m more than halfway there!“
Their smile didn’t fade when she apologized, the child shaking their head softly in response. “It’s okay. Really, it is.“ They replied, their voice calm. “I was really scared and upset at first, but now I think I feel okay.“ And then with their smile going wider, they felt the need to add, “I don’t even need to go to school down here.”
Bee smiled as she listened to Frisk. They were so brave - since Bee had fallen there hadn’t been a whole half hour where she’d felt anything other than at least worried about her situation - mostly she was working with a running sense of fear in her background emotions. She ran a hand through her short hair and wished for a child’s determination and courage - it seemed to be something you lost as an adult. That, and the unshakeable belief that everything would be okay.
“Some of the monsters seem a little scary,” she admitted, “but I’m sure they’re lovely people. I shouldn’t judge them before I get to know them, you know? I don’t think they’re all bad. It’s like humans, like us. Some people are kind, and some aren’t, and most people have reasons for being mean, like they’re sad inside, or maybe someone was mean to them and they’re angry because of it. So, yeah, I think you’re right, Frisk. I think that if humans were the ones down here.. I think we’d be the same. Maybe even less kind.”
A short silence washed over them. The murmuring echo flowers behind them had picked up on a few short phrases: just want to be free - monsters are just like people - shouldn’t judge them - get to know them - humans would act the same way..
Bee shivered. Sometimes she wondered if echo flowers were nonsentient after all. Luckily, Frisk chose that moment to distract her.
“Eleven! Wow, that’s way better than six and a half. Eleven’s a good age - my eleventh birthday was my favourite birthday out of all of my birthdays, ever. Went to the zoo. Got to hold a baby monkey. ...I’m pretty sure they weren’t supposed to let me do that, but it was still really cool. After that they took us to dinner, and then an observatory for an overnight stay. We got to look at the stars all we wanted.”
She tips her head back and closes her eyes. If she imagines hard enough, she can see the Milky Way. She is feeling rather melancholy when suddenly, what Frisk just said catches up with her and she barks a laugh.
“Ah, man. I’m pretty sure that if, at eleven, you’d offered me the opportunity to never go to school again, and said that to do it i’d have to fall down a hole into a mountain, I’d have at least considered it.”
She’s still laughing a little, little bursts coming from her as she tries to compose herself.
“You’re a really funny kid, Frisk.”
heheh… what sorta things are you studying now? sometimes they all aren’t so bad.
yeah, i know that well enough now… it’s no problem though, kiddo. you’re helping with chatting. sometimes distractions are the best that can happen heh.
yeah, i’m still kinda. getting used to this whole multiverse thing, but honestly i’m kinda liking it. i’d not have the friends and such that i have now if it didn’t exist… your sans sounds pretty intense heh. must be trying to shake you up a little bit.
nah, it sure isn’t a thing that happens down here. i’m this universe’s sans, ain’t any other one but me here. it’s as nuts to me as it is to you… i uh. personally had a sort of idea of multiple universes and all, but i’ve always kinda figured that they all sort of came and go with the events that unfolded. guess that hypothesis didn’t pan out.
i study writing, focusing on creative writing, but im minoring in monster history and the years surrounding the erection of the Ebott Barrier
sorry. guess that might be a touchy subject. its why i fell down here. im not from this country - im only here because relatives in the area offered to show me around. i figured it could be the breakthrough i needed for my courses.. but, uh. that didnt really work out. as you can see.
im still trying to keep notes, though. if i based a short story on this it’d be the next Alice In Wonderland.
speaking of the ‘multiverse thing’ with everyone meeting each other - thats new, then? because i think im the only one here from my ‘universe’, as it were - i havent met anyone who recognises me. is anyone studying the multiverse? or are we all just kind of.. collectively ignoring it
because im no scientist but i love knowing things so i’d be up for finding out whats going on haha even though it’d be way over my head
as for intense, i dunno. he seemed pretty creepy, but also really nervous, like he was really focused on getting me the info i needed and then getting the hell out of dodge. he was jittery, you know. seemed like he was worried about something? idk though youd know better than me, being one of them. being.. him? no. wait.
fucking. never mind. being one of the sanses/sansi/sans(pl) out there. the grammar for this is messing with me
Christmas Mistletoe.
Reblog and see who leaves you a kiss in your ask box. ;)
this was an absolute fucking disaster last year let’s do this
Heya! New Sans blog here, could you all be so kind to reblog/like this if you are willing to role-play with another ol bag of bones like me :D

The librarbian blinked as she went through her explanation, glancing up at the book in question for a moment before, with a small nod, they retreated. Within the next moment, they’d returned with a cardboard box, upon which they stood and retrieved the book in question, which they’d offered to her.
“ This one isn’t the best account for a beginner user, I fear; it’s more of a primer for more complex utilities involving heated liquids. Title’s a bit deceptive.”
They paused a moment, tapping a claw against their chin as they examined the other for a moment.
“Not to be presumptuous, but I fear our only real ‘introduction’ books to magic are in our children’s section. Most of the studies on theory and manifestation are in New Home… which might not work out so well for you.”
… That wasn’t too rude, was it? Although, granted, the moment this one strolled into the city, they’d probably seize her and take her to the King. Which… likely wasn’t the best outcome for her, really.
She stepped back to let them work, taking the book when it was handed down. Opening it and flipping through, she made a face. It was way too full of maths for her. She closed it and sighed.
“I’m pretty sure that naming something as complicated as this ‘A Simple Introduction To Certain Fluid Magics’ is misrepresentation,” she muttered, and glanced over at the children’s section. She wondered if she was going to have to resign herself to reading Dick and Jane books for monsters. She was about go over when she heard the the quieter addition. She paused. How was she going to deal with this?
“I- I don’t know what you mean,” she said, deciding to brazen it out. It had worked with that tall skeleton - he’d just accepted that she wasn’t human. But this monster.. they looked a lot more wary. A lot less likely to simply take her word for it. “Why would going to New Home be a problem? For me, specifically?”
My muse has just taken a Truth Potion, send “Spill it” plus a question and they will answer.
My muse cannot give half truths, partial truths or bend the truth. They will have to spit out everything then and there!
Spill it: what does papyrus' spaghetti really taste like? I've seen lots about it but nothing with much information. Be specific.
it tastes exactly how you’d imagine it to.
it’s, uh. very flavorful and unique. you’d really have to taste it, there’s no way to compare its flavor to anything else.
Yeah, but you're missing crucial information here. Like, does it taste good?
So I was reading @abadtime‘s incredible fic and thinking about Gaster, and then a certain song came on my trntbl and i just. I couldn’t help myself. I’m so sorry.
Lyrics are below the cut! I rewrote them myself, I hope they make sense. I’m aware the timing is sliiiiightly off but hey, gaster’s not a professional, ok? Leave him alone.

they’re just not that into you: tumblr rp edition
So we need to talk about things, we do.
I keep seeing people complaining about feeling ignored. And some weeks I feel ignored, too. And sometimes I talk to people who have tried to say ‘no thank you, I’m not interested’ in 546378 different ways, and people take that as ‘I need to be more creative and persistent’.
It’s time we were honest;
Sometimes, an RPer is just not that into you.
They are begging for threads when it’s their turn on replies. They have a wishlist but they turn you down when you ask. Communication has drawn to a halt. You start every message with ‘hi sorry to bother you’. You nudge them repeatedly and they are unresponsive.
… they are just not that into you.
Here are some reasons why this might be the case:
You’re trying to write yourself into their background and it doesn’t work well with their headcanons.
Your writing styles are just unmeshy things. Oil. Water. Bam.
They don’t agree with some aspect of they way you play your character (and this doesn’t make you wrong; just incompatible). <– especially canons tbh. We all see them differently. Which is great.
They don’t mesh with some aspect of the way you run your blog generally - more ooc than they are comfortable with, too much negativity about fandoms, characters, ships or people, too many photos of your stamp collection.
Your styles clash. One of you likes heavy formatting and structure and the other likes things plain.
What you initially discussed is not unfolding right for them.
They just don’t feel it.
They have a lot of threads and they don’t want to cut down on others for one they’re lukewarm about.
None of these things are likely to be the case:
They hate you.
They think you suck.
This is NOT about ‘quality’ (i hate that word being used around here). It’s about compatibility.
Let me ask you… can you really enjoy a thread knowing you had to harass someone into it? I doubt it.
I am not talking about people who take a little longer than usual to reply, because our lives fluctuate. Or people who have long breaks (hooray, they have lives!). I mean when someone is around a lot and it’s just a constant impasse. Or your messages never get answered.
This does not mean you are a bad RPer. This means one thing: You are not compatible with the other writer. That is all, and it doesn’t reflect badly on you, or on them.
If someone goes on a date and it flops, we don’t blame them, right? And they can still be friends, or civil, or leave on okay terms.
This is a huge world. Really there are thousands of us. It sucks when someone you want to RP with just doesn’t seem that interested. But someone else will be interested. Stop chasing people who aren’t. It will be easier for you both.
