i have this like. version of jaypoppy in my sick twisted mind where jay and poppy are close as apprentices (and oots) and have baby crushes on each other and then go off with their separate relationships (berrynose and poppyfrost are canon mates but i like to think jayfeather at least had a tiny crush on briarlight) and then when they die they reconnect and stuff but ANYWAYS DONT LOOK AT ME

Willowshine the Willowshine Gets her fur texture and color from her mama!!

She's one of the youngest Riverclan cats to make the journey to the lake, along with Minnowtail [kit], Pebblefoot [kit], and Tumblekit [kit] She's technically their aunt, but she's a kit around the same time, only a season older, so her big sister Dawnflower and mama Mosspelt end up raising the litters mostly together.

Quite soon after arriving at the lake, Minnow, Pebble, and Tumble [As well and Dawnflower and Beechpaw] get super sick after the kits play in poison. Tumblekit dies here. This is also the first scene where we see Willowkit showing an interest in medicine and volunteering in the med den. I imagine it gives her a sense of control in what feels like a helpless and awful situation and is what sets her on her life path moving forward. In mymind she also feels a sense of ingrained responsibility after helping to look after her younger niblings for most of her own kithood.

I feel like it's sort of a trend for her to take on extra responsibility, perhaps more than is good for her, of her own volition. But she learns to heavily lean on and trust in Starclan, again perhaps a bit too much, to manage the weight of it. <- Possibly contributing later on to her death

one of my favorite yet most heartbreaking wc headcanons is that swiftpaw was actually taller/bigger than longtail by the time he died. like, days before swiftpaw's death, longtail pretty much had to reach his nose up to bump noses w/ his apprentice in greeting.

i can see squirrelflight/shrewpaw(pelt for aus sake) following bramblesquirrels storyline for the most part; i like to think that squirrelflight adopts the three as a single mother (following the arc1 rule of not having to disclose the father bc hey erin hunter what happened to that) and shrewpelt helps her out frequently w/ the kids, w squirrelshrew getting together in the last half of pot/first half of oots maybe and the having alder + spark years later

tawnyrowan stays the same

brambleclaw and stormfur are wanderers/loners for all of power of three and most of oots; they visit thunderclan w/ their adopted kids at some point and brambleclaws like 😬 when he sees everything going on in tc but his kids are like PAPA CAN WE BE WARRIORS TOO ????
