Okay nobody asked for this but i wanna find other fans of some niche animes I've watched, and they'll be ranked by which ones I like most

1: nanbaka

Nanbaka with always have a very special place in my heart, my very first niche anime and i'm still super sad thag it hasn't receivedthe flowers it deserves and that the fandom is super small, but it was the anime that got Alejandro Saab attached to me and now he's my personal ghost in almost every form of media I consume💙 i also met rocks VA at a con a few years back and I got his autograph.

2: tamons b-side

I get such bad second hand embarrassment from this show, but I love it so much as a kpop fan myself, but lets be so honest, if utage was real, she'd get canceled for being parasocial, like "tamon is god"? If someone said that about like bang chan, they would get DRUG through the mud. But its honestly so cute and so funny, and the dub is really good now as its coming out, but with it being in english it gives me more second hand embarrassment than the sub did when I first watched it😭 but the little "gloomy" whenever the mushrooms pop up is so cute

3: you and I are polar opposites

LITERALLY, SO FUCKING ADORABLE. I NEED SEASON 2 NOW. Its also stupid funny with it's use of current slang, I also love the duality of Suzukis VA, cus she also voices Sakura kono in horimiya, but the amount of time I quote "i'm such a chud" just randomly, its awesome. Also, WHO TF IS GAPACHO?

4: yakuza fiance

Now I genuinely don't know if anyone knows this anime is exists, and it's so crass, and kirishima pisses me off with his infidelity and then turns around and professes his love for yoshino, like he's hot but- also I can't have him speak without rudo or hinata from haikyuu popping into my head cus they have the same VA😭 i'm also a huge tokyo revengers fan and I really like gang animes, so maybe i'm just like immune or something to the crass topics because of other things I've watched🤷‍♀️ I feel like this is the type of anime that if I said I watched, I'd get shot, but it's actually kinda good

5: sugar apple fairy magic

It is only this low on the list cus I kinda dropped it, it was cute but i got really bored as I tend to do with fantasy stuff, nothing really to say about it other than the main girl reminds me of madoka magica, and chelle is a cool concept for a character but I think they went wrong somewhere when putting his character into script writing

I've dabbled in niche animes and my favorite has to be nanbaka, but what the hell is sugar apple fairy tale? I click on it thinking it's gonna be some cutesy fairy romance anime, and on episode 10 they drop a different version of the bible story of the first man and woman where their 'eve' betrayed mankind, not by biting an apple, but by falling in love e with a fairy and now women are looked at as betrayers of god? What?😭 how did we get from this girl who looks like madoka magica making a life size sugar sculpture of the dukes late fairy wife to THIS? And then Jonas keeps popping up can he just KEEL OVER DEAD, first episode with this guy: SEXUAL HARRASSMENT. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT FAIRIES, MAN. But I do really like chelle, his first on screen appearance i had to take a picture of him and send it to my friends cus he was just so majestic, but why does he randomly just go outside and aura-farm in the middle of the night? Like he's tryna impress Liz from the heavens or sum shit idk

Ok another like post-show fullmetal alchemist headcanon:

Obviously, winrys dad is 💀, right? And I've seen other headcanons that Hughes would have been the one to walk winry down the isle at her and Ed's wedding, but bc Hughes is ALSO 💀, who did walk winry down the isle? Well I have a few theorys/suggestions:

Her grandma

Major armstrong

Or she walked herself

I feel like her walking herself is more realistic and probably what the fandom might lean towards, but i just love to imagine Armstrong walking her down the isle completely balling and saying how proud and happy he is for her and ed😭

But anyway, what are yalls thoughts?

New candidate to walk her, Al. Ofc he's gonna be Ed's best man, but i can see him running down the isle, opening the door for winry, and then walking her down.

Someone else said Mr Garfiel but I dont think he would, but you bet your ass he's front row balling and cheering by the end of it

Like i love my a good kuroo, or bokuto, or iwa fic as much as the next reader, but like c'mon, why are we SLEEPING on daichi sawamura😞

Currently rewatching horimiya for the nth time and im on the last episode of season one, and I had a slight headcanon:

What if all of these internal thoughts from miyamura and hori were there wedding vows? What if miyamura saying "there's no distance, ive never been this close to somebody before in my life. Boundaries dont apply to us, and that used to terrify me. It shook me to my core, hori. But because of you I felt a whirlwind of emotions I wasn't aware I could feel" i dont wanna type it all out but go to horimiya season 1, episode 13 timestamp 3:37, TELL ME THAT DOESNT SOUND LIKE IT WOULD BE HIS VOWS- and then all these memories that we see in season 2 are them showing their kids what they were like in high school via the yearbook we see in the intro, and all these little tidbits of the entire group in school in season 1 are Toru and Yukis best man and maid of honor speeches in flashbacks cus lets be honest, they FOR SURE were the best man and maid of honor. I also think Miyamura and Hori were there first in the group to get married, the second was remi and sengoku (probably like a year after he finally told his dad they were dating, sengoku may be the class president but he procrastinates on a lot of his personal life stuff)

I watched kpop demon hunters going in with zero expectations, I just wanted to see what was up...

Holy fucking shit.

(KPDH spoilers ahead)

So I'm just gonna say it: soda pop was not that good, the lyrics were corny and just weird, the beat itself was in fact catchy, but when you really listen...ehhhh

Like just say the lyrics like normal, don't sing. "You're my soda pop, my little soda pop" if my man called me his little soda pop, I'm smashing my own face in with a brick

Also, did no one else notice how like jinu was wearing the bracelet during your idol🥹 in some frames you can see something moving around on his wrist and that's cus he actually took it and put it on after derpy (the tiger) came up to him with it in his mouth, I thought the scene was just him being like "wait, no, but rumi-" cus let's be fr derpy liked Rumi more than jinu, did you see how he immediately left jinus side to be next to Rumi before a during free? Derpy was the best part abt this movie

The sassy man apocalypse is real, jinu was so fucking funny, I still haven't forgiven Maggie Kang for not only killing him BUT TAKING OUT HIS AND RUMIS AQUARIUM DATE AND KISS. I WAS SO MADE WE DIDN'T GET A KISS😭 I need my rujinu moment

The ships are literally on point and actually how kpop fans work in real life it was beautiful😭 tho I don't understand miromabby, like I get it, I just don't see anything with Mira and Abby, but Mira and romance however- did anyone take note at the fact that during the entire fan meet ROMANCE DIDN'T LOOK AWAY FROM MIRA ONCE SINCE HE SAT DOWN. I'm a proud romira shipper. Zoestery is also like everything? They barely knew each other, he barked at someone and she popped him said no and HE STOPPED AND POUTED AT HER. LITERALLY, EVERYTHING.

Overall I loved the movie, they represented Korean culture beautifully (mainly cus it was made by a Korean woman) and the representation of kpop fan culture was perfect, I would look at some of the fans in the movie and said "wait- no cus me too"

I'm currently waiting for the second movie and for the derpy plushie to come to Amazon cus I need like yesterday

When it comes to talking abt dyslexia, all that's ever mentioned is how we mix up our letter. But no one ever mentions how we mix up our NUMBERS too, and that the way we write, yeah, THOUGHT TO MOUTH, I MIX UO MY LETTERS WHEN SPEAKING. No one ever talks abt it, but I've stumbled over my words cus I added in a letter that didn't belong or didn't add one that I needed THRICE in the last 12 hours. And I'm not talking like "oh I said gooder instead of good or better" no, I'm talking where I say a word so bad I have to curl up in a fetel position on the floor cus even I don't know what I fuckin said.

Anyway, I'm gonna end this with a list of words that are the bane of my existence as a dyslexic😌:

The word dyslexia itself, it should be an i, not a y

Beautiful and gorgeous (since they mean the same thing) spell check is my best friend on these

Stupid, not really a dyslexic thing but it's still taken me a good 7 minutes to spell that bitch

I think I’ve officially outgrown tumblr fanfics, it’s hard to find decent new stuff that isn’t just another smau full of poorly written characters that are nothing like their original personalities. For fandoms like Jujutsu Kaisen all the men are written like Toji=mean+horny, Sukuna=mean+less horny, Gojo=teasing+horny with little to any more depth. Or like Tokyo Revengers where most of the guys are given the same personality depending on if they’re categorized as confident or quiet. Then they make all dom-leaning characters talk with a forced accent that they definitely do not have, sometimes it’s a blaccent other times it’s a lot of “gi’me” instead of give me or “ya” instead of you. Its gotten to a point where they straight up just won’t say full words and I cannot describe the visceral ick it gives me lol. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been able to find good stuff on here before and I don’t doubt that there are good writers in these fandoms, it’s just getting harder to come by. I stopped using Wattpad for similar poor writing and it’s sad to see it happening here now.

Edit: I don’t plan on replying to the ppl reblogging this bc most of them are not approaching the conversation with the same level of maturity as I have.

If you think that having a blank blog means that you’re not able to give criticism as a reader then you’re just wrong idk what to tell you. That’s the reality that comes with writing and posting your work, that by no means justifies stuff like harassment or bullying, but that’s clearly not what I’ve done. Sorry if you took my opinions personally bc you have a 👀certain👀 taste in fanfic and smut tho lol

No cus seriously. And it's not even just in anime fandoms, I see it in kpop fandoms too, not all but some. And instead of making them Dom leaning they're all subleaning and it's just fucking weird. There is one reaccuring account that i see that does ateez and I avoid her RELIGIOUSLY cus how she portrays the idols- specifically seonghwa, gives me fucking chills and makes me want to throw my phone. Also, why are like hybrids so popular? Like "golden retriever!*idol*"...why? I got Tumblr to get away from wattpad, wattpad was a scary place for me, I don't want Tumblr to become wattpad😭

(Also why do so many smtfics read like they were written by a 12 year old...)
