In town next to the pharmacy two women have moved into an apartment above our new medical clinic; Dr. Lee and Dr. Kim. They're married, and practice veterinary and human based medical and dental care. Schedule an appointment by texting the phone number located on the door. Head in for your yearly check up today!

Did you hear about our little hamster friends at the cafe? Head in and test their opinions on you. Ask for some food and a drink and see what they do!

Have you been to the wine bar yet? It's located in town. You can't miss the big wine glass sign hanging above the door. Head in to pick up a bottle or so, grab some champagne for the new year, sample some of the mini wine bottles at the front counter. Expand your taste and enjoy a little booze this new year~

Did you see the full moon comes on the 2nd? Post about your plans and experiences, go with a friend to make your forever wishes. Do you want something simple like a permanent new hair color? Or maybe your wish is too personal to share. Nearly anything is possible!

One of our most popular locations in town (the cafe) has been developing a specific glitch for quite some time. Patrons have occasionally found that if they ask for things like food or drinks, those items appear.

What we know There's a squad of hamster figurines that appear in random spots at the cafe counter. You'll never see these figurines move but sometimes they hold different objects, wear cute little hats or clothing, judge you from afar. If they like you and you ask for things at the counter, they'll deliver the items.Are you fond of strawberry cake? They'll deliver you the most perfect slice. Want a sweet drink? Ask and hope for the best~

Watch out for mischief. Sometimes they like to tease more than they like to admire, and will surprise you with something like a chocolate pie with hard boiled eggs hidden whole inside the filling, or an extra salty drink. Sometimes the pink coloring in a beverage will be raspberry instead of the usual strawberry.

Don't get mad at our hamster friends! They like compliments, aegyo, and cheese. Gain their favor to earn the best treats! After all, you could always make your own instead. Good luck!

Walking paths have been cleared between houses and throughout town! The snow is now around 60cm high in most places - perfect for some winter fun! There's a ice rink in the center of town around the fountain now. Head to the sporting goods store to pick up some skates~

Tuesday is global snowball fight day (globe as in the world cloudy grove is apart of) Pull on your snow gear and pick your opponent. Extra props if you use paint or pigment powder from the art collective to make a more colorful impact!

Speaking of colorful impact, the days are getting shorter and where we're located the daylight only lasts 6 hours right now. However when the sun falls below the horizon you might find a borealis dance across the sky. See the Northern Lights for an example. Peer out the window with a friend to enjoy it, or better yet, head out for a walk to get a better view~

Do you have a fireplace in your home? Not many things can compete with curling up in front of the fire on a snowy night. The home goods store received stock for plug in faux fireplaces this week. Head in and grab yours for free today! Then cozy up with some warm drinks and a friend to enjoy the crackling warmth~

How active is your community? Yes I know its small, but I know sometimes its the same person saying hello everyday(been there and appericate those who do it) versus actual engagement

Hello anon thank you for asking! More than half of our current members log on almost every day and interact through chats and threading. Everyone seems to be willing to thread and chat in general. The majority of the members in the roleplay have reached out to build friendships outside of their idol groups. One caveat is that the official rp wide group chat isn't active. But, I know people are threading in private groups, and chatting in personal dm's. We hope this answered your question and thank you for your interest in cloudy grove krp~

Did you see our new glitch? There are just a few more days left to wish on the crescent moon! Grab a friend and wish for something daring, fun, silly, serious, something you wouldn't want to last for a long time! We've included a picture of the moon phases through December 25th in the comments below~

The new moon will draw in a snow storm! It's supposed to pile chest level high and make it hard to walk anywhere. Grab a friend or multiple and mirror travel into the cafe. Cozy up in front of the fireplace with delicious drinks and treats!

Ski lifts are up and operational in the east mountain cluster. Stop in the sporting goods store while the weather is still nice and head up to sled, snowboard, ski, snowmobile, or all of the above. The snow over there is heavy and solid, so it's perfect for winter sports~

Have you been to the art collective yet? It's on the same line of shops as the cafe. It's a two story building. Villagers can get art supplies of all kinds; crochet hooks, pre-made pottery, paints, candle wax, sewing machines, and more, at the collective. There are also spaces for gathering to craft, kilns, studios, pottery wheels, and more! Maybe you'll make festive candles, seasonal soaps, or pop paint balloons against a big canvas. Stop in with a friend and fill your lives with color!

Some of you may have noticed a sign pointing to a trail on the east side of the village. The footpath leads through the forest and opens up into a meadow. It's about a 20 minute walk. We've noticed that this lake shimmers in the moonlight and through thorough experimentation; we've deduced it's a glitch.

What we know:

When the moon is visible, the lake shimmers. At this time, villagers can go there and make a wish. The wish will immediately come true.

The permanence and strength of the wish depends on the moon phase.

Phases Impact:

New Moon or cloudy skies: No wishes can be made

Glimpses of the moon with clouds covering it: Grants wishes that last anywhere between an hour and 24 hours.

Crescent Moon: Wishes last 24 to 48 hours

Half Moon: Wishes last 48 to 96 hours

Gibbous Moon: Wishes last 96 hours to several weeks

Full moon: Wishes are permanent

Wishing parameters:

The moon cycle on Cloudy Grove mimics the moon cycle in Seoul South Korea. The weather does not mimic Seoul

Wishes are for personal gain only. This means that you can't wish for something to happen to someone else, or large groups of people.

Some wishes have bigger impact than others, wishes with small impact like dying your hair purple; would last longer if wished outside of the full moon. Wishes that are more intense like carrying a personal scent that fluctuates with your emotions, or gaining the ability to walk through solid objects; would fade more quickly if wished for outside of the full moon.

Permanent wishes can be undone if they are wished for at a full moon.

Villagers can wish for more than one thing at a time. However the sequence of wishes will drop in impact. So if someone wished to dye their hair purple for their first wish it would be closer to what they were picturing than if they wished it for their fifth wish.

We're not fully sure what the parameters will be for each of your possible wishes but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out~

We've attached a photo of the lake. It was taken in Mid September, but villiagers should still be able to use the photo to mirror travel there if they don't want to walk.

Here are some examples of things villagers can get with wishes: altered appearance, semi-permanent to permanent makeup, healed tattoos, healed piercings, superpowers, abilities, skills, knowledge, objects, pets, etc.

Admin Note: This is an intentionally ambiguous feature that members are free to interpret as they please, as long as they don't godmod. The wishes being for personal gain only, is to avoid godmodding. The rest of the specifics are up to members discretion

Our first snow is due this week! Like many first snows, it'll be a little warm, a little damp, and rain down in large white chunks. It's known as packing snow because you can clump it together very easily. Grab a friend and have fun on this special seasonal day~

Have you made cookies yet this year? There's a surplus of cookie making ingredients and tools at the grocery! Pick some out and make a party out of baking and decorating with a friend. Show off your results with a post!

The flower shop in town needs your help as their supplies are perishable! Pick up a new hobby of bouquet making if that appeals to you! Grab a friend and see who can shape the most eye pleasing creations~

tis the season! december kicks off holiday cheer~ Bust out the music, bake some cookies and drink cocoa in front of the fire with a friend or a special someone!

It hasn't snowed yet at cloudy grove as far as we've deduced, but that doesn't mean you can't have winter fun! There's snow up in the mountains! Go for a hike and do some hot tent camping, or maybe you'll find a cabin up there, who knows~

Speaking of cabins, We've been noticing that some of the mirror portals in the glitch are bringing members to some wonderful places. Maybe explore through them until you find a vacation home for a change of pace!

Some of you may have already found the plant nursery in town! It looks like some brand new starters, bulbs, and seeds have come in stock! Grab a friend or take a solo trip to explore what you can plant now to cultivate in the spring before the ground freezes! Or perhaps there will be equipment for that green house to warm through the winter~

Karaoke Night! - Head to the bar near the town square, it's got a big purple sign in the otherwise blacked out window. You'll find personal Karaoke rooms to sing the night away in~

Ice Cream Sundae Crafting - Just before it gets too cold outside to easily explain eating freezing cold ice cream, head to the parlor in town and create your dream sundae, or perhaps a chaotic one that looks nearly inedible but probably tastes delicious! Maybe post your concoctions to let others in on the best recipe!

Glitch Exploring - Have you explored the cg realm through those mysterious mirrors that have been popping up in town? Now's your chance to explore. Grab a friend or more and find a new place for an adventure. Pop back and forth until you find a water park, a cozy log cabin, a beach villa, an abandoned mall - anything that suits your interests!

ROYGBIV Hunt - In honor of 🌈 head somewhere with a friend and collect 7 things that represent each color in the rainbow. Collect plants, cool rocks, seashells, flowers, or take pictures of things that are different colors, etc! caution: there is no hospital in cloudy grove so we can not recommend collecting animals, explore at your own risk! Some of you may have noticed random mirrors appearing, disappearing, and reappearing, in the center of town against a wall near the central fountain. After some preliminary testing we've determined they lead to different locations within the cloudy grove realm. We've found beaches, meadows, cozy cabins, snowy mountain peaks, an abandoned theme park, etc.

CAUTION: the mirrors disappear after you pass through them so bring along a portable mirror!

NOTE: Once you travel somewhere, you'll be able to return to that location again by form of another mirror.

Memories don't seem to be affected when traveling within the cloudy grove realm from a cloudy grove location.

Travel Instructions reminder: Look into a mirror, imagine where you want to go, touch the mirror and step through to that location.

There are a few wild persimmon, apple, and pear trees on the outskirts of town! There are tree fruit pickers in the hardware store now, grab one and a friend and a basket and pick your fill~

The Left Sock shop in the center of town appears to be a store that spawns unwanted or lost clothing. Head there with a friend for a fashion montage moment! Maybe you'll find some unique pieces to add to your closet~

The sporting goods store has off road bikes in stock, dress in warm layers and head out for a ride while you can still enjoy the autumn leaves~

Days are getting colder but the weather forecast predicts outlier summer temperatures and sunny blue skies in the middle of the week. Head to the lake with a friend and go for a swim!

Now, our muses have the opportunity to live between earth and a cozy slice of life realm called cloudy grove.

Proceed with caution! Some muses may choose to stay in cloudy grove forever while their mirror counterpart lives out their life on earth.

Some muses may experience memory loss when they travel to cloudy grove. This gives the rp a slight oc twist where mun's have complete control over developing their muses personality, interests, skills, etc. while still maintaining the base identity and known backstory of their face claim.

We also opened up applications to all Asian Entertainment Industries and lowered our age limit to 21.
