I go by Quin or just Q, I am a 27+ M (EST), with over a decade of rp experience. I am seeking a 21+ AFAB (similar time zone preferred but not required) partner to join me in crafting a high-fantasy, dark romance, character driven narrative with a heavy focus on the characters themselves and their internal thoughts etc.
Important info about what I'm looking for:
Fandomless MxF but I am open to FxF or playing F in MxF (with all characters being 18+ of course)
Past tense, third person (I enjoy playing more than one character so first person doesn't really work for me).
Lit-adv. lit preferred, 300-500+ words with a couple of paragraphs are a minimum for me but I often go well into two Discord premium posts when the inspiration strikes and I would prefer someone equally willing to do the same. A writing sample would be MORE than welcome and reciprocated!
Semi-frequent/daily posting. I try to post at least once a day, with the frequent multi-post/quick response day, but sometimes life happens. I understand intimately. I'm pretty good about giving notice when notice can be given about delays, and would like the same in return.
Setting will be high-fantasy but I prefer to tailor the setting to each of our wants and interests before-hand, so if this all sounds a little vague it is by design! I want your input, not to stuff you into my own story! Passive/submissive with regards to moving the plot along is difficult for me to maintain the energy for, I'd like to see where you'd take the story!
Characters will be treated similarly on my end, you are more than welcome to bring an existing OC you have into the story, but ideally I'd like something fresh! Half the enjoyment in this hobby for me is figuring out our characters as we go and even changing our preconceptions of them as we feel them out!
The idea I had was for our characters to be magically bound together with a common goal, with each having some sway over the other to suit their own ends so there would be a fair amount of give and take and power struggling! Ideally I'd like to throw a few characters at yours for some good old love triangle-ing, but I'm totally open to focusing on a single pair! As for the goal they share, it could be anything from magical school, to DND-esque to anything under the sun! Again, feeling each other out as writers is the goal so nothing's set in stone for me other than the general "vibe"!
Kinks/themes encouraged are corruption, temptation, bondage, power dynamics/imbalance in both directions, moral grey areas, dom/sub, enemies to lovers, dead dove with details more than welcome to be discussed in DMs! I have very few limits and am totally open to any hard "no's" from my partners, however this is a dark romantasy setting so there are some assumptions of comfortability with generic background violence and thematic "badness" on my part!
The RP will take place on Discord in a private server, as its the only medium I've used since forums/skype in the 2010's.
Misc. info:
I have some loose ideas for the themes, looks, personalities, etc. I am interested in for my character/characters, but plotting for me is a MUST before setting anything in stone. I'd like to have a rough idea of what we're both angling for with the dynamic before getting started, and adjusting things to ensure we're both satisfied!
While smut and NSFW are definitely a focus, my preference is 60/40 plot/smut ratio, as I live for what's going on in the characters' heads before, during, and after! I also enjoy fleshing out a broader world around the main cast with even the option for other characters/pairings welcome, so detail outside of smut is big for me. Sometimes action-packed posts are just necessary, but if that's your focus in your writing this likely isn't the pairing for you.
I don't really like real life face claims, but I love using art inspirations, anime or otherwise! (Preference for otherwise on my end). The written descriptions are king in my book! Anything else is just to help aid with the mental image, but I also will happily post some art if it reminds me of my own (or maybe even your) character along the way! I'd simply prefer if you had little quirks or details in the written word all your own! (Unless you're an artist then by all means you do you and ignore everything stated above lol)
AI is not allowed in text responses or images, I'd prefer not to rp with ChatGPT!
OOC is more than welcome, if not a must, I tend to blend unrelated conversation with character plotting and shipping/head-canon nonsense! Though I have had bad experiences in the past with getting too personal, so know I will respect your privacy and expect the same. Doesn't mean we can't be friends and chat about real life stuff to a degree though! If you have gotten this far, yay!
