Hi everyone! I'm Clove. I've been playing ESO since June 2020 on PC NA (you can find me @clove2000).
I created my account here because I loved seeing everyone's OCs and headcanons. That's actually what inspired me to kickstart this blog. I wanted to share my own ESO main and her various headcanons (mainly I wanted a place to infodump about her, lol).
In game, I primarily focus on questing, trading, and housing. I also love fishing and resource harvesting! Sometimes I dabble in PvP (Daggerfall Covenant) and I occasionally like doing dungeons and Infinite Archive. I donāt consider myself to be a hardcore player, I just play to have fun š. I also plan to share my ESO adventures on here too.
I'm pretty shy, but I'm excited to get to know you!
Here is a list of tags that I use:
oc evelora jurard - posts related to my ESO main and vestige (Breton magicka warden, associated with the Daggerfall Covenant)
clove has thoughts - my own personal posts (aka my random thoughts)
Ngl I'm intrigued with the idea that Ithelia and Jyggalag were balancing forces for one another. She's out there messing with the threads of reality, he comes along to put everything back into its proper order and keeps things in check, and so they act as sort of limiting factors for one another. Keeping Ithelia in check keeps Jyggalag busy, and protecting her sphere from Jyggalag prevents her from getting too out of hand with her Fateweaving.
But then Ithelia creates her Loom and Mora - already feeling threatened by a powerful rival - uses the potentiality of cataclysm to have her locked away, and suddenly Jyggalag's limiter is gone. He no longer spends all of his time keeping Ithelia's sphere in check and so he begins to expand his power and grows his realm, which the other Princes do not like in the slightest. Mora - who now knows there can be unforeseen consequences for removing a Prince entirely - advocates for cursing Jyggalag to keep him in check. And the Princes come together much more readily this time because nobody likes Jyggalag (implying that Vaermina and Peryite did like Ithelia).
Anyways the Prince of 'I know best' causing a disruption in the ecosystem of Oblivion with his meddling would be fun.
Good news for a change: The UESPians that spoke with ZOS about the future of their studio and Elder Scrolls Online had good things to report. According to both Jason Barnes (Associate Design Director) and Jessica Folsom (Associate Director of Community Management), ZOS is now at the same size as it was when they made both Wrothgar and Summerset.
So while the layoffs are extremely upsetting for everyone involved (including players), this is not necessarily the end of new content or the game going into maintenance mode.

(Minor edit: forgot to add that she also worships Azura, keeps chickens, and has a natural talent for growing plants and gardening)
Picture of my girl for reference:
Name: Evelora Jurard (first name is pronounced ev-uh-LOR-uh)
Name Meaning: "living flower" or "life of victory"
Nicknames: Lora (used by everyone); Lor (used by her parents, Malakai, Skordo, and Lyris); Evie (pronounced EH-vee; used by Darien), tamiit (used by Zerith-var)
Theme Song: Can't Catch Me Now by Olivia Rodrigo

Talia Jurard - childhood best friend and sister-in-law
Kenna Jurard - niece
Darien Gautier - husband
Zerith-var - honorary big brother
Skordo, Gabrielle, Lyris, Sai Sahan - close friends
Some Strengths:
Talented Nature Mage
Quick learner
Adaptable
Excellent diplomat and negotiator
High political, cultural, and emotional intelligence
Some Weaknesses:
Wrathful
Aggressive
Guarded
Self-destructive
No Concept Of: Hiding her facial expressions
Character: energetic, full of life, spirited, clever, curious, compassionate, determined, and sassy
In a fight: Evelora prefers to use magic and keep her distance. She'll often summon animals to aid her, use plants to restrain and toss her opponents, and use air, ice, and earth to create distance, impale, or restrain her target.
Evelora's staff is a melee weapon only and she can use it as if it were an extension of herself. The top of it is pointed, so she can use it to impale as well as bludgeon (she has also thrown her staff like a javelin on occasion). She can hold her own in close-quarters combat, though she could still lose to more experienced fighters. I see her fighting style as a combination of Karate and Judo.
Distinguishing Marks:
She has one scar. It's located over her sternum and it's from when Mannimarco sacrificed her to Molag Bal.
Trivia:
Class - Warden
LOVES tea
Culturally identifies herself as a druid. She's fluent in Druidic and keeps Druidic traditions. She typically dresses in flowy clothing and likes to wear rings.
Her personal pantheon includes: Y'ffre, Kynareth, Hircine (Elk of Arrows), and Azura (mainly out of respect).
She was subjected to brutal, unending torture in Coldharbour and if she was near death, restoration magic was used to heal her just enough for it to continue. As a result, she has a high pain tolerance and WILL NOT let people use restoration magic on her. If she needs to heal, she'll use plants, a healing potion, or let herself heal naturally. Evelora has also been known to cauterize her own wounds using heat if she needs to.
As a daedric vestige/soul-shriven, she doesn't need to eat or drink, doesn't age, doesn't get sick, and is cold to the touch.
Hates the cold (it reminds her of Coldharbour).
She has an Irish sounding accent. If I needed to pick someone to be her voice actor, it would be Lyra Valkyria from the WWE.
Fun fact: in my headcanon, Darien almost mistook her for a Bloodthorn cultist because of her accent and use of nature magic.
Her home in Wayrest was given to her by High King Emeric as a reward for saving his life during the Stormhaven questline.
Today there was a walk for the ZOS people who made ESO, in solidarity for those who were laid off and those who still remain!
Many thanks to the people who organised this and those who took part, and many more thanks to ZOS for making such an amazing game! We hope ESO's life continues for a long, long time!
This community is amazing and full of such good people.
No pressure tagging: @elderscrawls @clove2000 @harlequinalis @tanlorin and anyone else who wants to do this :]

Cares about Darien and Gabrielle above everything and everyone else
No ya know what messes with me about Merida only making Darien a vessel? It means she literally made him to DIE. Imagine barely remembering your childhood and now your supposed creator pulls the plug on you the second you do your job because you started developing a personality?
She never refers to Darien as DARIEN. No thatās her vessel. Thats the thing she made to use as a trump card whenever she seems is right.
The vestige, dying now a second time, uttered no complaint against their husband. What was there to complain of, but that they had been loved?
Comm of my vestige Serpensilles and Bastian from KittyOperas ⨠Quick lore context below for anyone curious :3
⨠In my Elder Scrolls canon, the vestige is a blank slate using the body of a person sacrificed to the Worms.
Serpensilles (Pen for short) was a nomad (raised a member of Brackenleafās Briars) who he met Bastian the same way you meet him in ESO, and basically their relationship is his ESO questline but moved in my canon to be earlier. TLDR, they were married.
After a spit, Pen was out running a job for some extra coin when a member of the Worm Cult lured and murdered them. Their body would become āthe vesselā and the vestige would be as if a different person to them. Bastian finds the vestige while desperately trying to search for his wife, and travels with them so their soul can come back to them. (Yearning 9000 thatās your wife but not your wife at the same time and you have to accept that to GET your wife back and huhhgggg-)
However at the end of the campaign, Serpensillesā body does not survive the ordeal and the soul returning to their body essentially slowly kills them before leaving Coldharbour. Bastian emerges with neither vestige nor vessel, and heās lost them forever.
you know, this new model for quest lines being released in old zones and just being 6 or so quests, no POIs, random side quests, delves or public dungeons, its actually really nice.
for years we've been forced to decide between either constantly pausing and going out of our way to do side quests during the main quest (even when the tension is peaking), or risking the "ewok party" (yes that's actually what they call the mandatory final quest party that's happened since summerset) missing npcs because they only show up if you did the side quest before the party.
the thieves guild story just being a few quests where it makes sense to do them back to back, no pausing to rank up or hunt down side quests, its kind of a relief.
"Traitors behind andĀ LonghouseĀ before
Both seek the swordmaster's death in this war
Sai Sahan fights to cheat such a fate
Alone now he battles through the gate.
Inside the walls, Sai draws a breath
Facing two armies, he deals out death
With only sword and wits to defeat them
He fights for Leyawiin's freedom."
-"The Liberation of Leyawiin", a song recounting Sai Sahan's singlehanded liberation of the city from the forces of Emperor Leovic, penned after 2E 576.
Statue of the Redguard Swordmaster in the city of Leyawiin in the 2nd Era.
"The truth, I suspect, is far more brutal and bloody. One does not saw the skin off of eighty-six skulls unless one is burdened with a great deal of suppressed anger and bloodlust. One man does not take on six hundred at once. I think it far more likely that the Redguard fought a brutal, running battle throughout the city for days, murdering commanders and guardsmen alike until theĀ ReachmenĀ and their mercenaries eventually quit the settlement.
That is what makes Sai Sahan so dangerous. He does not look to be the sort who would remain hidden away in dark alleys and backstreets, surviving by eating garbage, butchering, one-by-one, men so savage that the only way to frighten them is to become a murderous, invisible ghost, haunting the shadows of an occupied city. And yet, that is precisely who he is, and what he has done.
