Well look at this! A new blog under the belt!

Hi my names Haru (she/they) (pan/genderfluid) I'm a huge elder scrolls fan also a fanfic writer. Probably put more hours into skyrim and eso than I should. Been a fan for the last 6 years and have probably crowded my brain with too much lore for its own sake. especially about the daedric princes

Got some general rules here just for the sake of housekeeping nothing too odd

I am for a fact a huge believer in trans rights as well as the rights as my fellow lgbtq siblings. If you have a problem with that, please leave out the nearest exit.

This blog is 18🔞 plus for the safety of me and everyone. Plan on publishing fics soon and I do write a lot of nsfw

I like everyone just want to have fun, but i'm also autistc and sometimes I'll get a meaning of things a little slower than others. Getting better but also it can happen.

All and all just here to be able to talk about one of my hyper fixations and have some fun with people.

i can understand purist critics who don't like Ithelia from a conceptual level but i also think many of them have a fundamental misunderstanding of what she actually represents. in comparison to Azure's sphere of change or to go so far as to denigrate her as the "multiverse prince".

like, Azura enacts change, so that doesn't even quantify into what Ithelia does. As for the "multiverse prince" stuff, there is not a multiverse... technically anyways. There could be (as is the nature of the structure of the dream) but that's neither here nor there. Ithelia sees all potential paths, and only when she glimpses them are they really there. i feel like this sort of thing is just lost on people but hey

like i said, i get it. adding a prince in ruins the numerology of 8 and 16, but Lorkhan ALREADY broke the numerology by adding himself in as the 9th-- and as of the end of the 3rd Era, Jyggalag is 17 (since of course, Ithelia banishes herself back to a path she sees where she can't escape from). this isn't even getting into how numerology is heavily referenced but isn't really canon either

Ngl I'm intrigued with the idea that Ithelia and Jyggalag were balancing forces for one another. She's out there messing with the threads of reality, he comes along to put everything back into its proper order and keeps things in check, and so they act as sort of limiting factors for one another. Keeping Ithelia in check keeps Jyggalag busy, and protecting her sphere from Jyggalag prevents her from getting too out of hand with her Fateweaving.

But then Ithelia creates her Loom and Mora - already feeling threatened by a powerful rival - uses the potentiality of cataclysm to have her locked away, and suddenly Jyggalag's limiter is gone. He no longer spends all of his time keeping Ithelia's sphere in check and so he begins to expand his power and grows his realm, which the other Princes do not like in the slightest. Mora - who now knows there can be unforeseen consequences for removing a Prince entirely - advocates for cursing Jyggalag to keep him in check. And the Princes come together much more readily this time because nobody likes Jyggalag (implying that Vaermina and Peryite did like Ithelia).

Anyways the Prince of 'I know best' causing a disruption in the ecosystem of Oblivion with his meddling would be fun.

How do they speak and what does their voice sound like?

Molleva:

I definitely think the closest match for her is tifa from the final fantasy 7 remake especially considering she's got those very quiet notes to her voice

Becuase she got raised very high education she uses some complex words but not ridiculously complex to where people can't understand her. Though she's usually a mute sort when she's around a lot of people she doesn't know. Even before the planemeld she had a reputation for being far too quiet to really stand out. Not that she minded though.

When she swears it's like...water in the desert, big deal and you should take it seriously.

Knows a lot of tamrielic sign language.

Huge listener.

Shiriba-ko: Shiriba's voice isn't one I really have a claim for because it's a diverse thing. On the one hand she still has the typical accent you'd expect from a khajit but it's very fractured in a lot of ways. She never grew up with a primary figure to learn how to speak some words so often words she's never heard a khajit say get said in a more high rock adjacent tone. Though because she was reading mage tomes early as she could understand she's got a lot of vocabulary at her disposal.

Swears mostly when something doesn't quite go the way she hoped, she's practically animated during it.

Linlee: Lin's is way different because this isn't her original voice due to her transition. Very loona from helluva boss though she's still got that valenwood accent

Swears mostly when she's out hunting, there's a lot of growls due to her not really separating her lycanthropy than her normal self. But also most of the time she's not really talking while off hunting. You get the impression unless she likes you, talking to you is a pain and she'd rather be off hunting.

Plays-with-spirits: Plays is so hard to explain because her voice is very higher pitched? She's also a rather joyful sort and her tone is usually very upbeat, any bad news from her gets lessened just a little. Also, EXTREMLY ANIMATED. When she's talking about her normal hobby of spirit talking you can really tell she loves what she does.

Nessa: Orc warrior who's a lot more tender hearted than she looks. Kala from tarzan is so much of that tenderness but also that firmness she has

Swears mostly in invoking malacath's name at her enemies. Her language is very to the point when she's pissed because she has all these kids who are up to something and she will tell you when you've done bad.

Argus: Oh geez, ya wanna man whose had a lot of his vocal cords fried from yelling battle orders? Very teba from the zelda series

Battle foreword, an almost no-nonsense man. Swears like a sailor out of high isle and very straight to the point. Though his tone gets lot gentler when he shows that softer side. He listens when he's in the mood to listen.

Finker: Fink is a little different than his son. On the one hand his accent is very rich due to him being a lot older than he looks. On the other it's also very tender and he's very much seen his share of things. Very david tenets 14th doctor. Big listener because he's found stories make the world a lot more interesting

Question of the week: What are their disabilities/conditions?

This question came to be by a suggestion of a friend

I often think about how with so many different people out there, there are also so many different conditions, which also can manifest differently from person to person. A missing leg, short sighted, chronic pain, depression, epilepsy and many more. So, today I ask you what are their disabilities or conditions? Were they born with it? Do they need aids or some medicine for it? How do they feel about it and does it affect their life?

In this case also includes scars, if you were wondering. Also noticed a bit late conditions could technically apply to Lycanthropy and Vampirism too, but I leave that up to you whether you feel like it's applicable to your OC's case!

Oh geez this a big one cause the disabilities have range here lol

Molleva: Molly is dealing with a case of undiagnosed endometriosis which has left her with some of the most debilitating symptoms. Pelvic pains, nausea that doesn’t break for hours and just overall being unable to function. At one point her and Shiriba spent years of mages guild resources workshopping a tonic that helps ease a lot of the burden. Fun fact: the events of greymoor were mostly done during an awful period.

She also has autism and often or not her mutism is a selective thing.

Shiriba-ko: Shiriba’s isn’t so definitive because a lot of her problems stem from magical misfirings. She’s dealing with a few nerves in her paws being shot from taking things too far.

Linlee: Linlee is dealing with a lot of hunters wounds that she chose to heal with awful bandages and subpar healing (she’s not Molly by any means) so lots of scars, also a lot of chronic pain from working herself too hard on hunts. She doesn’t quite consider her lycanthropy a disability but she’s very aware it disables a few things socially.

Plays-with-spirits: plays is dealing with some muscular dystrophy due to an incident while she was still in her egg. She gets through it with help from the magika she was born with.

Argus: old war vet. Even during the reachmen siege 564 before his daughter (Molly) he had some scars that never healed right. Chronic pain down the back and sensation loss in certain places. During that encounter with moricar he lost his eye trying to help emeric. Despite all of this he insists on still maintaining his title of general.

Finker: Fink is dealing with the results of life prolonging magic (from azura) and his old age mixing in an odd way. He’s still got his wits about him but he’s not as spry and nimble as he was during his adventuring years. Also carrying a case of cptsd with him, a mix from his father but also having his hand in a lot of trouble

A short fic about my vestige and her sister after the events of gold road.

Finally being able to post any writings I have on Molly and her family is very fun for me

"Swear there's more than their were last time." It was Molleva who remarked up at the night sky. Stars glimmering and blinking in and out of the dark dance above the heartland. West weld had been pleasant change of scenery. At least from the inky, depths that made up apocrypha.

"Or you just weren't looking last time." The white furred khajit chuckled toward the Breton. "Swore you were more busy dozing off than actually…well sneaking out late."

Shiriba and her hadn't done this in awhile.

Actually bother to look up that is.

"Hey! You were the one who convinced me to sneak out of the university! Middle of the night mind you!" Molly gave a playful smack as she lifted herself up slightly from the ground. "Vanus probably yelled at us for an hour straight."

"Hey the stars in cyrodiil are a lot prettier than back home. You can't see'em well in the early hours." Her sister defended. Though it was nothing ever bursting with tension.

Never had been between them.

Even when they were younger.

Even during the debates spent in the arcane university pouring over tomes and historical records trying to prove their own theories correct.

"Can't believe it's been that long though." Molly couldn't, the starlight getting lost in the blues of her own as parts of aurora tried to bleed through th sky.

You couldn't get this view easily anymore, not since the war and the planemeld kicked off. Cyrodiil wasn't safe anymore. That wasn't even getting into what had happened since.

"We've seen the sky in other ways though! Nothin bad about it at all."

"You don't mind it?" The vestige asked, brow raising slightly.

"This one? Mind? Molly this one has seen things she never thought she'd see." Shiriba purred. "Besides, would have probably gotten bored of home at some point."

Somehow none of those words surprised her.

Her sister was a daring sort. Whatever magnus had left behind for mortal kind willing or not that was were her sister excelled.

By Akatosh she thanked the gods for her everyday.

"Once things calm down I wanna go back to that spot again. Maybe plant something there pretty." Could feel her hand tighten up bit, gaze retuning up. "That way we can find it easier."

The stars would still be there.

As they always were.

She just wanted her sister there to see them with her.

Time to talk about the characters I currently got! Causse boy howdy i made lore for these guys and I need to put it somewhere.

First up we got Molleva or molly as she goes by to friends and family. Molly is my vestige and before the3 entirety of the coldharbour incident she was a rather shy lady of the lefevre dealing with the loss of her mother as well as her innate shyness. Her father later remarries an orc named Nessa who brings along with her adopted children (Shiriba, linlee (pretransition), plays-with-spirits and argonian who...well plays with sprits, Tarsi and Telke two dunmar twins all who were found by her during her own travels.

Molly was originally being pitched to a young darien gautier due to Argus being afraid his daughter would get left behind.

Vanus galerion is asked by Argus to help control Molly's powers as by this point, they were barely anything one could control nevermind for a girl that young.

Didn't leave high rock all those years mainly because she wasn't the type to go out for a thrill.

Molly's teen years were spent in cyrodiil learning under the temples across the heartland as she was dead set on becoming a priestess of mara. Circumstances in cyrodiil forced things in a different direction, however. Happened to be on the battlefield when the anchor high above the while gold tower dropped and her father sent her home.

Gets sacrificed into coldharbour and this girl needs to put her brave face on despite of everything and has taken saving the world to be "Some duty given by Akatosh." Though a lot of it has been her experiencing the wonders of the world

Shiriba-ko's life started out rough. Born on the street as a cub in rimmen she happened to get found by Nessa during her travels. Nessa of course knew nothing of how to raise a khajit but Shiriba's accent was still a rather distinct one from picking it up from other khajit.

Nessa travels one year to glenumbra and put Shiriba and the others into schooling. A young molly and her become fast friends and eventually a family is formed.

Shiriba becomes a mage in the mages guild and ends up trying to test the bounds of magic in such a way she elder mages a little nervous. Of course, she would justify things as "What's the point if we know the answer?"

Absolutely stunned by what happens to her sister and throws herself into defeating molag bal out of sheer love for her. Would then accompany her sister throughout her travels seeing it as a good opportunity to get a more hands on approach to things.

During the northern elsweyr events she discovered her birth parents were victims of the flu. She just happened to be lucky to not get it.

Linlee born under the name Veryl was a rambunctious one from the day she was born. Not remembering much of her birth parents, she recalls Nessa finding her in malabal tor when she was small after sealing food. Nessa was quick to show her how to hunt or herself to the point it became a passion.

Something she could put herself into. More so to ignore her growing discomfort with her deadname and a body she was growing to despise.

Before northern elsweyr she ran into Hircine. Course she had heard all the stories of the daedric prince of the hunt, hard not too when he was often the parton of many of her greatest rivals. Hircine tests her limits, ends up quite smitten and offers her of all things the title consort. Linlee takes it barely registering the actual big deal it is.

Course the underlying gender dysphoria gets noticed by the daedric prince who offers to "bring things into reality." Course with he added lycanthropy gift as well.

Molly and the greater family are of course surprised but generally are willing to play nice with the prince if it means she's safe. The divines teach love and kindness after all

okay not to ocpost again but the worst thing about having an oc is sometimes they become The Character to you. and you need to talk to someone about it like wow I can’t stop thinking about The Character… but in order to do so you have to like sit them down and explain everything about your oc first. and then it’s just you explaining your writing ideas. i need to talk about them the same way i would talk about any random character i love to someone.
