Me at Scott’s and Danai’s and Andy’s doors begging them for more: You can’t just leave us like that. I don’t even want a story. Just get together and film some scenes of what live at the Grimes’ is like now. It doesn’t have to follow a big narrative arc or anything. But I do need to see it. What type of activities and the likes does Rick do to spend time with his kids and get to know them? What does Michonne do to ‘make up’ for the year she missed? How do they adjust to being now a 4 person household? Where is it seamless? Where do they struggle a bit? How does Rick occupy his kids when he needs some alone time with his wife (that man is not done, ok lol)? Rick being the most attentive and present father to be there has ever been during Michonne’s pregnancy (listen, she’s already pregnant, it’s not up for debate lol). What incredible heartstopping declarations of love does Rick keep dropping on Michonne? What little gifts does he keep finding for her? I need to see all of this and so much more. PLEAAAAASE. Who do I need to bribe??? What do I need to do??
This is why the world needs fanfiction writers 😭😭 I hope all the richonne fanfic writers don't go back into hiding again. Now is when we need them the most!!!

no, that's the thing that's been pinging around in my brain for days because i think about that situation where she had to kill those kids -- and she kind of talked about it in the episode -- but it's like. like. god. the levels of fear at play there. fear at not being able to raise/keep judith safe if she's dead, fear of not bringing rj to term, fear of what would happen to alexandria, etc. and that example is just one of the "big moments" since he's been gone! there's been a hundred, a thousand little things. moments where she's been unsure of how/if they'll survive the change of the season, moments when food gets low, stuff like that. like. she carries (and has carried!) so much weight and so much fear over the course of every single day he's been gone and now she finally gets to rest. and i think we see a bit of that when the room is falling down around them and she's just content to sit there until rick figures his shit out and it's like. like yeah we could die right here and right now and it's fine because i'm with you (even though she knew, i think, that he'd make a decision well before they actually died). but. yeah. yeah. fuck me the hell up !

I loved the scene where Rick watches Michonne undress. Especially the still of her when she catches him looking, Michonne hair is messy and her skin is glowy looking like a goddess. 😩 she’s so beautiful. I’ve got it down bad for michonne probably as much as Rick.

I just wanna say that I’ve been in and out of sleep since 3:43 am EST and I’ve watched this episode 3 whole times. So if none of this makes sense that’s why. But my god we were so well fed.
This is a Rick that speaks up and fights with the woman he loves for what he wants. Even if he is loud and wrong. Not gonna cast dispersions on Lori because I get sick of seeing folks hate on her but my god. This episode is a stark contrast from who Rick was in his first marriage to who he is now.
This Rick doesn’t let Michonne walk away (even though he’s the one doing the pushing). He argues. Yells. This Rick is the most open mouthed son of bitch that was missing in his first marriage. I love it when mom and dad fight because it’s for each other. Not with each other.
