Hi, my name is Clover (she/her)! I am Trans MTF, Medicated, Hydrated, and better than ever. I have a cat whom i love very much, his name is Keebo. I like doing art and i have too many hobbies so this blog will just be an amalgamation of all of those things.

My Art

My art that i especially enjoy doing is painting miniatures/statues, drawing(both digital and physical), and 3d modeling.

Video games

My current video game obsession is monster hunter but some of my other favorites include…

RESIDENT EVIL, ULTRAKILL, Fallout, Doom, Binding of isaac or literally any other 2d roguelike, and more.

MTG

I am 100% hyperfixated on mtg a bit, i mainly play EDH/commander, and have around 30 decks put together just right now. I enjoy designing proxies and working hours into the night making decks.

My favorite deck is currently Choco landfall/birds

Other hobbies

I also really like building gunpla/zoids/30mm, painting minis, I Recently picked up tarot for fun, I love DMing for my D&D group,

Bael Repaint

So I painted my HGIBO Bael about 2 years ago using nothing but paint markers, and I was really happy with it then, but I grew unhappy with it cuz it was kinda really bad so I decided to redo it a few days ago, this time with hand-brushing instead

I was mainly unhappy with it cuz of uneven coats, the colors felt off, and there was some weird marbling-type kinda stuff going on The panel lining was also super messy

since the paint was a bit bumpy and weird and uneven, its still a bit strange after the repaint, but Imma try to be nice to myself about it because it was messed up before

I used a few different new types of paint and some new fancy brushes for it, and it went pretty well I think!! I'm still trying to get thinning down, I experimented a lot with different consistencies and thinnings for this project, and learned a lot

It doesn't look the best, in fact I kinda hate it, but again I'm learning (and have been for 4 years) so its ok i guess

Here's the repaint!

I decided against redoing the paneling for now, since i have now way to seal or finish or varnish it right now sadly, and i don't want to fuck it up after the hours of work

All in all, I'm fairly happy with it but i still think I did a bit of a shit job redoing it, but I can definitely see progress so that's good

My favorite part of it is the inner frame (which I redid so much better since I posted it a few days ago, added more weathering and evened out the coat) but I forgot to take a good picture even though i got a crappy one and I dont wanna remove all the armor right nowwww :(

I need opinions, does this IBO inner frame paint look good or bad? When i showed it to my brother (who doesnt know gunpla) he went “oh god thats bad” but i was honestly pretty happy with it
