Knots in my throat
I read back on a lot of my posts and it hurts to see how bad things were. I love myself for seeking therapy.. I encourage you all to do the same one day.

On May 7, 1972, Edmund Kemper picked up two hitchhikers named Mary Ann Pesce and Anita Luchess and murdered them. Here he describes the murder of Anita:
“I was thrusting and the knife was going very deep, and it amazed me that she was stabbed three times and then was still going at it. I tried stabbing her in the front again. or towards the throat area, and she was making quite a bit of noise and was trying to fight me off, and I stabbed her in the forearms. One was so bad you could see both bones, and she saw it. When I hit, I didn’t think it really hurt so much, as it was the shock of everything happening so fast. She looked at it, and I could see the expression on her face of shock.”

After suffering years of sexual abuse at the hands of a family member, 17-year-old Lisa Noland decided she could live no longer. In the early morning hours of 3 November, 1984, she left her shift at Krispy Kreme and started to cycle home. When she arrived home, she was going to end her life. She had already written her suicide note. However, the earth had different plans for Lisa that night and a tragic event gave Lisa the determination to survive, and ultimately, to live.
As Lisa was cycling home, a car beeped at her. Ignoring it, she continued on her journey. Moments later, she turned around and noticed the same car now parked at the side of the road. Suddenly, she was grabbed from her bicycle. She felt the cold barrel of a gun on her forehead as she was forced into the car. The unidentified man threatened her with a knife, blindfolded her, binded her and drove off into the night. Once inside the kidnapper’s apartment, Lisa was raped over and over again. The main thought running through her head was that she was going to be murdered and how she didn’t want to die even though she had been planning on killing herself just hours earlier.
What Lisa didn’t know, is that the man who had abducted her was infamous serial killer Bobby Joe Long. By now, Bobby had already raped and murdered at least ten other women. Lisa knew that to survive, she would have to try and earn his trust. She asked him why he was hurting her; because of a bitter breakup, he claimed. Finally, Lisa told Bobby she would have liked to be his girlfriend and that he seemed like a decent enough guy, just misunderstood. And with that, Bobby took sympathy on Lisa and dropped her off after the entire ordeal.
From this moment on, Lisa knew she wanted to live. She had been given a new lease on life. Thankfully, she managed to get a peek of Bobby’s face when her blindfold was lifted and was able to give this description to the police. Lisa was the only ever victim of Bobby Joe Long to survive. He was sentenced to die in the electric chair. As he languishes on death row, Lisa is a sheriff’s deputy at Hillsborough County, close to where she was abducted.

Being in love is a good thing, but it is not the best thing. There are many things below it, but there are also things above it. You cannot make it the basis of a whole life. It is a noble feeling, but it is still a feeling.
