okay SO re: my last post (too much gwylan in the update) I was lurking on twitter and found these statements from Devil (a mod in the discord I think?) and PurityGuy

Which, looking at it, does explain why Gwylan has so much content compared to the other LIs and feels like they're overshadowing pretty much everyone else, so I do understand that part.

I do think that a better move would have been to introduce them a little more slowly? Release parts of their content alongside content for other characters so that they don't feel so overbearing compared to everyone else or something, that or release an amount of content that's similar to what everyone else has at the moment.

REGARDLESS, PurityGuy's behavior outside of that, as well as the dolcord's policies in general (stalking twitter and banning people over their opinions there) is very unprofessional. I get it's a mature game, but that is still the Official Game Server, and that behavior is not normal.

Following Discord's policies (which, by the way, is not something that can be well-enforced given the size of Discord, the only reason it would be suspended would likely be if a TOS-breaking message got reported) is one thing, but dming someone because of something they did off of Discord is another. Cmon man

nahh I'm starting to get the gwylan hate, I don't mind her on my endgame file but they're showing up on my other save when I haven't opened it since before the update and now they're at the cafe opening, by the railing- cmon man. I haven't talked to you at all, why are you here? esp when the character I'm playing doesn't gaf about anyone and hasn't raised love stats with anyone but kylar :/

Like I'm sorry but if you want to call yourself profic, you have to (YES YOU FUCKING HAVE TO!) get used to people still liking Harry Potter, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece, Alfred's Playhouse, Walten Files, Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel, Five Nights at Freddy's, or any other thing made by a genuine piece of shit.

It's one thing to point out that people should avoid giving money to these creators. I agree! Don't do that! But as long as they're consciously avoiding that, it's not fucking immoral for them to not want to leave those fandoms behind entirely. THEY ARE JUST AS MUCH COVERED UNDER "PRO-FICTION" AS ANYTHING ELSE.

If you can't handle that, then get out of the profic community and do not use our label.

Over 15% of all complaints that PAC receives each year are about content that users consider offensive but does not violate the AO3 Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

Fictional depictions of societally taboo topics, immoral behaviors, or crimes (such as bestiality, child sexual abuse, incest, and rape)

Fiction that contains or promotes offensive and/or oppressive viewpoints

RPF (real person fiction) that contains explicit content or portrays people in a negative light

Explicit fanworks for canons whose creators have said they dislike explicit content

Offensive fanworks are not against the AO3 Terms of Service, and PAC will not remove fanworks simply for being offensive.

AO3 is a home for all fanworks

AO3 operates under the principle of maximum inclusiveness of fanwork content. We will not make moral judgements about a work: if it’s a legal fanwork that does not violate any of our policies, we will not remove it from AO3.

Don’t report works for being objectionable or offensive. If you wish to avoid certain content when browsing AO3, you can use the tools discussed below.

Why does AO3 allow fanworks about content that is illegal where I live?

There is a difference between fictional content about acts that would be illegal if performed in real life, and content that is itself illegal to post or access in a particular jurisdiction.
