Tonight was different, a deviation from the usual norm and the depth of your calculated choices. You were in your usual spot inside your favourite pub, dining on a nice, simple meal and sipping on your ale. The TV playing the current football match in the corner of the room.
While savouring steak, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies smothered in mushroom gravy at the pub, your gaze fell on the aged analog TV. It was a vintage piece, which you had always despised in its heyday and still do now, as it seemed more ancient than the surrounding pub’s furniture.

You were simple in your reasoning, and you warned them you would have taken legal action if they saw you in public. The threat of a restraining order against them worked wonders for you. You had a form filled out in the case they ever stepped foot near your home.
You were talking to your mother on the phone, who seemed to have ‘great news’ according to your retirement. “Mother, who says he’ll even read that decorative letter you sent him, let alone have the time needed to look at it?” you mused, a small smirk planted on your lips.
“Hey, if he decides to respond to your letter? I’ll buy you a new coffee machine.” you stated, thinking it would be no chance in absolute high heaven he would respond or even think about responding to your mother’s floral letter. “You are far more than what he deserves, mother.”

Which you did. Hunting people down gave you this ‘natural’ advantage. Or ‘unnatural’ advantage, depending on your perspective.
“I know. I live in a relatively small town now. It's peaceful, you’ve been here once before when I bought the place. Remember? With the four bunnies which you cooed over for hours? Who enjoyed your treats you brought with you?” mentioning, reminding her you showed her your new place.
