My cemeteryās in Key Biscayne. Itās one of the prettiest in the world. The sky is blue, palm trees, rolling hills. The one is Los Copaās really sh*t. [sigh] What a pain in the ass you are. And itās true: youāre not young, youāre not new, and you do make people laugh. And me? Iām still with you because you make me laugh. So you know what I got to do? I got to sell my plot in Key Biscayne so I can get one next to you in that shithole Los Copa, so I never miss a laugh. Robin Williams and Nathan Lane as Armand and Albert in The Birdcage (1996) dir. Mike Nichols
It's hard to know what Mithos is thinking while he's with the party but I feel pretty confident about this one
āJUST MARRIED,ā Fernando, seated, and his husband, both members of Los Angelesā Blue Max Motorcycle Club, get pulled over as they leave their wedding ceremony, December 1969. Photo c/o @onearchives. In the mid-twentieth century, the Blue Max Motorcycle Club, along with many other gay motorcycle clubs, provided an alternative to gay bars, which were constantly at risk of police raids and harassment. #lgbthistory #lgbtherstory #lgbttheirstory #lgbtpride #queerhistorymatters #haveprideinhistory (at Los Angeles, California)
fun fact: motorcycle clubs in the U.S. were founded and run largely by gay men who missed the homosocial camaraderie of being in the U.S. military during WWII. the lifestyle and aesthetics of those motorcycle clubs gave rise to many of the stereotypical/classic gayĀ ālooksā (leather, chaps, etc) and indeed to the gay leather scene itself (both the gay male leather/biker scene and the lesbian/dykes on bikes leather/biker scene)

You can tell when someoneās frame of reference for ānormal peopleā is more āpeople at the church sponsored ice cream socialā and less āpeople on the busā
the people in the notes saying āpeople on the bus arenāt normalā are the people this post is talking about.
'yeag' is a typo to YOU but to me she conveys a feeling that 'yeah' does not
