“I um…I-I crashed into a tree…A-again….” Viola stammered, fiddling with her fingers in embarrassment.

“What do you mean you crashed into a tree? Were you out training and just didn’t see it?” The male questioned as he gently pulled the remaining bits out. Only to proceed fixing her hair. If sparkles could emit from her hair, there would be some. Astral made sure it was fixed perfectly.

There were times she was too early. There were times she was a tinge bit late. but Gods, she was never nearly an hour late. How upset would Lord Corrin be to see her bringing him his afternoon tea when lunch was nearly over? How furious would Jakob be to see her blunder?

The young maid nearly stumbled down the hall, tray in hand as she made an attempt to walk at a relatively fast pace while also attempting to keep her bearings.

A familiar voice roused Felicia out of her incessant worrying, a small smile coming to her face at the sight of her son. Ah, seeing him never failed to melt her worries away. At least temporarily.

“A-Astral! Ah, I’m just fine.” A little white lie to the boy wouldn’t hurt. Would it? “I just need to take these to Lord Corrin. Are you enjoying your day off?”

Even if she was already extremely late it would have been rude and unmotherly of her to just disregard her son.

Icy blue eyes blinked in surprise. They trailed down to the tray, taking a few moments to think about what was going on. ... Then it dawned on him. Oh! She’s late!

“O-oh! Mother, you’re late! Here, let me help you!” There was a hint of panic in the voice. The tall one extended his pale hands to grasp the tray. Not to mention he had a parasol in one hand. That was quickly forgotten. From occupying his hand to taking rest on the floor.

“Okay, okay! Don’t worry, Mom! We’ll make it in no time-!” With tray in hand, he quickly turned on his heels. Taking a step forever ended up being a mistake. His feet greeted his parasol which lead to his fall. Astral lost his balance, causing him to lean forward quickly. The tray he gripped was held high to avoid another unsightly event.

Next he knew, his face kissed the floor. However, the tray was saved! Everything was intact. A small pause was present, only to be disturbed by a small sigh. “I-It’s okay! We can work with this!” He wasn’t wanting to admit he was making Felicia later.

“After seeing you and your mother I have to wonder if the clumsy gene is genetic.” Leo couldn’t help but let out a sigh as he glanced at the mess on the floor. At least Astral seemed to have a tendency to keep such accidents few and far between.

“Fetch a broom and dustpan. I’ll help you to clean this up. But just this once.”

Luck just wasn’t on his side today. He felt it when he woke up this morning, and it surely was tagged onto his bad side for the remainder of the day. Astral had seemed to drop a few plates before Leo. Sadly, he didn’t seem really embarrassed nor surprised. He honestly felt disappointed.

“I’m sorry, Mi’lord. I’ll do so right away!” Astral did as he was told. Grasping the broom and dustpan from the other side of the room, and returning with said items. “I guess it’s an off day for me. One way or another, I can avoid this type of thing happening...” It was hard to explain his own luck at times.

He had received notice that a royal would be visiting the quarters tonight. Though, they didn’t give him a lick of detail about the person. Only that they were going to be here in short notice. Astral stood before the door. Waiting for any knock on the front entrance. His blue eyes watched the panic in his fellow co-workers, but he still remained calm. ...Mostly.

It didn’t take long before a woman’s voice shout, “He’s here! Everyone get ready!” Then vanished down the hall. The boy stood there, blinking in confusion. Next he knew there was a light tap. “Alright, here goes nothing.” A fair hand grasped the handle, slowly giving view of the inside.

“Ah, hello sir! Welcome to the castle!” Astral continued with a polite bow.

“U-uh.. Dad? What am I suppose to do this with this, exactly?” The boy questioned holding onto a basket full of what looked like spider webs. “... Dad, why did you save all of this?” Though he did give the items a curious look. Depending on the angle he looked, some of it shined in the lighting. A light pink tail wagged slowly. Brushing the floor gently.

Astral stared at the man in confusion. Not very sure as to whom let this character waltz freely within the castle walls. “Um, sir? You can’t exactly walk area here as you please... Not to mention you’re dripping water!” The sound of rain tackled the walls and roof of this enormous building. “I-- Uh.. Actually, wait here. Let me get you a towel--” As he was talking, the clumsy one lived up to his reputation and slipped. Face planting onto the floor due to tripping over his own feet.

“.... You know, this is fine.” Was it really?”

Astral was strolling through the hallways of the castle. It was his day off, after all. So he didn’t bother wearing his uniform. A simple white long sleeve collared shirt and black slacks. One hand was held up in his pant’s pocket, other held onto a closed parasol that occupied his shoulder. The tall male hummed a tone in his head. Though the pink-haired boy came to a stop when his blue eyes tumbled upon a maid progressing in the same hallway.

“Mother? You alright? You don’t look well...”
