“I don’t wear my hair in buns,” Lyra smirked. She wasn’t that oblivious to the question. She didn’t have an answer, anyway.

who got da best buns in Johto
“I don’t wear my hair in buns,” Lyra smirked. She wasn’t that oblivious to the question. She didn’t have an answer, anyway.
Where did you buy that hat? It's uber cute~
"It is, isn’t it?” She replied, a wide, happy smile present on her face, alongside the slight rosy tint in her cheeks. Lyra loved her hat. Although most people thought it was strange, she loved it. And that’s also what made the teen exceptionally happy about the comment to her hat.
“Oh—, where I bought it? Well…”
The thing about her clothes; all of her clothing was home-made. Lyra’s mother taught her how to sew at a young age, and she quickly got hooked into designing and threading together her own clothing. By the time she started her Pokemon journey, Lyra’s skills had become really great. While the hat itself wasn’t home-made, she added her own touch to it—a red-ribbon tied evenly around it’s round shape. That hat also had came with rips and tears, leaving Lyra curious as to how they got there, that she’d sown up by herself. “Mum got it from the Cherrygrove Mart one day, and I made it look even cuter by adding some touches of my own~!”
can u paint with all the colors of the wind
Chocolate hues gave a rather curious look towards the questioner. Lyra blinked—unsure of how to answer the question. Her initial answer would be ‘no’—but…. what if it was…. a trick question!? The teen couldn’t help but worry that her answer would be wrong, but what else could she say? 'Paint with all.. the… colors… of the wind…? It sounded almost like song or poem lyrics. Lyra finally opened her mouth to speak, hesitating a moment after doing so. “I… don’t think so. What…. are the colors of wind?”

"I bet being mun-chan is really great, but…” Lyra paused briefly. She didn’t want to switch places. She loved how she was. Lyra was content with her life. The brunette smiled. “I like how I am. I don’t want to switch places with anybody.”

Stray Pokeballs | May and Lyra
May clicked her tongue with each squelching step she took. Fallarbor Town wasn’t exactly known for their swamps, but after a good rare rain, the water and ash mixed to make just that. May kind of like how the ground sucked at her feet, but it wasn’t the greatest for stealth. She had a feeling she was scaring away any pokemon in the area. A shame that. Shroomish were shy enough as it was. She had come all this way to because she had heard Shroomish that lived in ash tended to be a different color and they usually came out after a good rain. She had also heard that they were difficult to find and the young woman had a feeling she knew why now.
May rushed up a hill close to Fallarbor’s famous hot springs, ignoring how the mud splattered onto her legs. Up here, she might get a better idea of where things were. “Well, this is promising…” she said as she looked around and could only see mud and bushes for miles. She blew a raspberry at her predicament. Maybe she would have to give up on this one.
Then, there was a rustling in the bushes nearby. Oh, this might be it. May slowly took out a pokeball, rolling it in her hand. She threw it in the mess of bushes only to be met by a groan that was distinctly human.
"Ohhhhh, yikes." May grimaced, realizing her mistake. And she was doing so well with the whole not trying to catch people thing. "Umm," she stood on her tiptoes to see the person, "You okay?"
Eyes glimmering with utter excitement, Lyra was positively thrilled to have finally traveled to one of the regions that are big in the news. She'd hardly really been outside of Johto and Kanto; and as much as she's seen so far, Hoenn is vastly different. During her small little adventures here, the teen had made her way to Fallarbor Town. It wasn't what she'd expected. It was... muddy, ashy--swampy. Lyra wasn't sure how she felt about this town now.
Oh, well, catching Pokemon will make me happy again! Professor Elm will be sooo happy if I catch Pokemon we can't find in Johto! That was true, and that was also the biggest excuse for her to come on this journey. It... wasn't even her intention. But Lyra knew that she would anyway, so, no big deal. Right?
By the time she'd reached the outskirts, Lyra had mud splattered on her socks--her white socks. Trying not to stifle a groan, and trying to stay positive, the teen began searching for Pokemon; tip-toeing around as if none would notice her that way. Haha, as if that were true. She was a naturally loud person, unintentionally. Hey, I think I heard something! Excitement returning, Lyra scanned around looking for the source of the sound, when something hit her on the back of heard head.
"Oh--! Ouchie.." The girl yelped, rubbing at the back of her head. "What the heck was that?" Shifting her head around, Lyra spotted a Pokeball beside her. It couldn't have been one of hers. Was it just.... thrown at her?
Suddenly, another girl revealed herself in the opening, clearly in shock. Lyra immediately came to the conclusion that she'd thrown the Pokeball--thinking there was a Pokemon back here. Admittingly, Lyra had made that mistake quite often. Which was sad, because again, it happened often.
"Oh... I'm fine, I'm fine," Lyra reassured, waving her arms dismissively in the air. Upon doing that, she reached for the Pokeball, handing it to the girl. "This belongs to you, right?"
Despite the fact it was still hot outside, the girl couldn’t help but begin to clear out the drawers of tank tops and tees. Touko adored sweater weather. She had a sweater for almost every occasion. The girl carefully took out her tees and placed them neatly into a brown box. “Mm. It’s heavier this year.” She muttered, picking up the box and tossing it out her second floor window. As she dusted her hands off, a scream was heard from underneath her window. ‘Shit!’
A small visit out of Johto sounded excellent to Lyra, considering she'd never really been outside the region. She'd chosen to visit Unova. More specifically, the lower part. Striation was supposed to have a cool restaurant, Accumula Town was supposed to have amazing musicians--and Nuvema Town was supposed to be quiet and pretty. Currently, she'd already visited two out of three of those places. And Lyra was thrilled to visit Nuvema Town.
Skipping past the town sign, a wide grin plastered her face now that Lyra had finally made it here. And it was very pretty. You were supposed to be able to catch a glimpse of the water sparkling here; and that it was always fun to just stare at. Lyra figured a moment of not moving was a good idea. She was energetic and moved constantly. Now to head over to watch the water!
Passing the side of one house, when Lyra got to the front--she merely just stood there. She could see the water from in front of the house that lie right smack-dab in the middle of town. "Whoa, so pre-----"
With that, a high scream arose from the brunette, as something has just pummeled onto her head. "Wh-what the--!?"
I'm really glad Lyra's spot was still available. I have so many old asks of people wanting to thread I'm so sorry. I'll be starting over now unless people I've been rping with would like to continue rping. Anyways, I'm really happy to be back in the group!
; Guidance || Lyra and Avery
--
Goldenrod City, Johto, was a place Avery had never ventured, had never seen himself visiting. But it was summer now, and a customer had dialed his PokeNav inquiring about if he had those things from Johto that help with contests? The Breeder scratched his head, pausing for a moment until the young trainer progressed further with the explanation. They’re like.. acorns..wait, no Apricorns! He knew jobs requested by those in Hoenn usually consisted of PokeBlocks, but perhaps they were going out of style. He was trusted with the duty of familiarizing himself with the unique item, as well as getting a shipment to those in Hoenn as soon as possible.
But no job seemed too much for Avery. The Breeder now found himself outside a large dome, walking in circles across the tiled perimeter. The first step was done—find the Apricorns. There was a woman selling them at her booth, mixing the best ApriJuice you ever tasted! Avery had asked her about the fruits, where he could find them and if there was anyone he could talk to for more information. That’s when she shoved a map against the pocket of his overalls, instructing him to go to Azalea Town and talk to a man whose name he’s already forgotten. But for a visitor, someone who couldn’t read, those instructions weren’t clear enough.
'N' how do I get to Azalea Town, miss?
The woman rushed to fill cups with the sample of her juice blend. It’s just right down that way. Can’t you see I’m kind of busy? Goodbye now.
Clutching the useless map, Avery let out a defeated sigh. And he began his umpteenth circle around the dome. That was, until a gentle tap on his shoulder caught his attention.
You look kinda lost…the young girl had no trouble speaking to a stranger. Especially one that was an apparent foreigner. Avery eyed her Ampharos, the condition in which she kept it. It’s positive health was evident. Ooh! I can help, if you want.
Scratching the back of his head, Avery decided this was a fateful opportunity, a chance for him to complete his mission. I’m just lookin’ for a place. Azalea Town? Ya see, I’m not from around these parts…
After getting a better look at the newcomer, Lyra realized that he wasn't from Johto. Now it made the fact that he was lost a little more justified. Though the teen couldn't exactly pinpoint what region the boy was from, she was excited that she'd came across somebody that wasn't Johto. Here lately, the places that people leave to visit are Hoenn and Kalos. Which is understandable, though. Hoenn's always a place visited in the Summer. And Kalos, well, is also a very popular tour spot. I haven't been to EITHER places...
Her thoughts were broken when he finally spoke up--it actually wasn't very long, but Lyra's pretty impatient sometimes. So it turned out he was looking for Azalea Town. It wasn't exactly that far away but there was the Ilex Forest to consider. The brunette would make sure to warn him of that.
"You came to the right person!" She chirped happily. Though, in reality, it had been the other way around in the first place. Lyra pointed south. "Y'know Goldenrod City? You go through there and--Oh, I almost forgot! You'll have to go through Ilex Forest to get there also! It's full of bug types--"
To keep herself from rambling on, Lyra immediately stopped talking for a moment. She was supposed to be helping him out--not starting a conversation! She laughed.
"Oopsie. Sorry about that," She apologized, dipping her head. "But, yeah, just go straight from Goldenrod... then Ilex Forest...."
She made it seem easier than it was. Forests are always a pain to travel in. That actually caused her to stop talking completely this time, worrying that the boy would get lost in the forest. The teen didn't exactly want a foreigner to have a bad experience in Johto. Lyra knew what she was going to do.
"Would it be okay if I came too? Getting lost in Ilex Forest would be baaad...."
; Guidance || Lyra and ???
A sunny, bright day. Days like this, Lyra loved. It's always fun to go out and do something in her opinion. And--of course--that was her objective. Just finishing up a Pokeathalon, the girl stepped outside the large building. She didn't win; so the girl was in a rather pouty mood. Lyra knew losing wasn't a big deal, but nonetheless it still dampens her spirits for a little while.
Arms crossed over her chest, the girl slowly went for the exit. Walking beside her was her Ampharos. Lyra loves using it often, and it's always funner to have a Pokemon outside of it's Pokeball, right? It feels less lonely that way. There was no convincing her otherwise. It was cheerly walking; the moods of it and it's trainer were obviously different. But when Lyra looked at her Pokemon, there was no fighting the smile she gave it before petting it's head.
Sighing as they reached the gate doors; the teen began to ponder where to head next. Ooh... Probably the National Park...!! With that, Lyra's frustration began to ease a bit. The National Park is always a very exciting place crawling with Pokemon.
But before heading that direction, she spotted a very lost looking trainer. The brunette wondered if they needed some help. Either way, she skipped on over to them.
"Uh, hey," Lyra began, tapping on the stranger's shoulder; gaining their attention.
She wasn't really bashful when meeting somebody new, but the brunette didn't want to accidentally overwhelm them. It has happened before. The teen does admit to having an over-energetic attitude. And by now, she'd completely wiped away her bad mood.
"You look kinda lost..." She continued, though it was just stating the obvious on her part. Then suddenly, her eyes widened. "Do ya' need some help? Ooh, I can help you if you want!"
Naturally, she'd want to help. Lyra wouldn't pass up an opportunity to help somebody and to possibly make a new friend.
WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
The brunette lit up at that question. There were so many things that made her feel better. Lyra was almost never in a bad mood as it was—at least in awhile. During her travels there were a few things that set her in a pitiful attitude. I remember ringing up a friend on my Pokegear whenever I needed to feel better—
While there were so many things Lyra could’ve said, there was one obvious answer to this question. The grin the teen wore on her face widened. “My friends, of course!” She chirped. “—Although plushies cheer me up a lot too….. Nah! Friends, totally!”
Hey there! Okay, okay--first things first. I'm Lyra/Koto-mun; but Reshi is preferred. I'm SO happy to come RP in this group again. In case anybody wants to know, I RPed Iris a couple months back. ( Temperedsoul !! ) Things got kind of hectic, and her blog went inactive. So sorry about that. But anyways-- I wanted to try Lyra this time around, especially since I have a lot of free time on my hands to RP. And she's a character I have a lot of muse for.
ANYWAYS, pleease let me know if you'd like to plot! I'm eager to start RPing!
