I miss this show like itâs a person.
Sometimes my reservation, or my confidence, might have prevented me from doing something. And Iâve needed a mum in the past to kick me up the arse and go: âYouâre doing it.â

Tracks from Tomlinsonâs solo record have been playing inside the studio. Theyâre modest, rather lovely pop songs that in their quiet way seem to acknowledge his underdog status.

The others have always been⌠Like Niall, for example. Heâs the most lovely guy in the world. Happy-go-lucky Irish, no sense of arrogance. And heâs fearless. There are times Iâve thought: âIâd have a bit of that.â Zayn, back in the day. He could relate to me on a nerves level. In the first year we were both the least confident. But Zayn has a fantastic voice and for him it was always about owning that. Liam always had a good stage presence, same as Harry, theyâve both got that ownership. Harry comes across very cool. Liamâs all about getting the crowd going, doing a bit of dancing⌠And then thereâs me.

And if there was any bad news that needed giving to the label Iâd always be designated to have the argument.

âAlthough my problems might look a hell of a lot different theyâre actually, fundamentally, the same. Loss feels the same. Heartbreak feels the same. The fundamental hurtful things for a human are all the same. And I feel like I have to push that constantly, that humanised⌠The humanised feeling thatâŚâ That youâre not a toy? âYeah. Honestly, itâs crazy. Itâs hard for a lot of people who are fanatical to believe that you are a real entity and a person.â

âI remember saying to her: âMum, how the fuck do you expect me to do this now?â And she didnât swear much, my mum. Sheâd always tell me off for swearing. And this time she was like: âYouâve got to fucking do it, itâs as simple as that.â It was football manager, team talk stuff.ââ

i think itâs important to note that while he was talking about how he felt like a bit of an outsider he never put down any of the other boys he has such a genuine love for them
also, so incredibly glad the focus and content of the interview was on LOUIS himself and his story over the past few years
âsee, adam parrish is wantable, worthy of a crush. not just by anyone, but someone like ronan, who could want gansey or anyone else and chose adam for his hungry eyes.â
