what has your characters life been like prior to the awoken memories?

spencer had a overall good childhood with two present parents (unlike canon) -- his father was a lawyer and his mother was a literature professor. he was a child prodigy and graduated high school at age 12 i’m leaving his background fairly open mainly to allow for future plotting, i’m pretty open to anything w/ spence!

spence is canon to the end of criminal minds s15 !

how does your character feel about their new memories?

spencer is... alright with it? he likes having his memories back, truth be told. his fake life was nice, but so was his real one. there were bad memories, of course, but there’s so many good as well -- and he doesn’t want to forget his friends -- no, family -- within the bau again.

spencer reid is the son of william reid, a lawyer, and diana reid, a former professor of 15th century literature. 

when he was young, william left his mother because of her schizophrenia. spencer was always mature for his age, graduating at age 12, due to his eidetic memory. because of his father leaving, he had to be the one who took care of his mother.

when he was 22, he joined the fbi and later joined the bau -- behavioral analysis unit -- at age 24.

i’m not going to go into crazy detail about the show’s events mostly bc... there’s a whole ass 15 seasons and he’s in every single season so that’s far too much info for me to put in here lmao

he has an iq of 187 and can read 20,000 words per minute

another sleepless night had lori finding her way through the darkened streets until she finds herself at the edge of the park.  there was just something about the cold night air pressing against her pale cheeks as if trying to wake her from such a dream.  a dream where she was without her family without her husband and her son and her daughter , days and nights where she just wanted to wake up but couldn’t because this seemed to be her new reality…and she was breaking.

the memories of the world she’d left behind hadn’t been as impactful as the ones that hit her tonight , they were however usually the cause of her sleepless nights.  she lifts her hands and presses them way down into the pockets of her sweater , hoping morning would come and night could just fade away.

𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, he tries to calm himself down as best he can. “i...” he trailed off, sighing. “it doesn’t work like that, it’s not... got a mind of it’s own or anything, i just-- i just need to relax, but that’s easier said than done.” he replies, proceeding to do a few breathing exercises he’d typically used for panic attacks. it helps, though, and after a few minutes the papers formerly stuck to his hands fall to the ground. once he’s completely unstuck, he sighs in relief and turns his focus back to harry. “have you-- have you been having weird dreams? but not dreams, and not always at night either, like... memories.”

having some sort of crisis had never been something harry wasn’t used to. every other day something impacted him enough to go through some sort of whirlwind shitty ass mood. this was why he couldn’t keep a job, unable to filter himself in the ways that service and retail needed you to be. when he showed up at the bakery he one hundred percent told himself he wasn’t going to turn this into another pity part. right now he just needed to pity eat some bakery pastries and put himself into some sort of sugar coma to tide him by. “thank god,” he exasperates, flopping himself down on the counter, body limp against the cold, pristine surface, “i’ve had the worst day.” now luna won’t be surprised, he’s always having the worst day, but today was… well, it was something. so many conflicting memories flooding his mind, and wading through them felt like he could easily drown. “everything in my head is just… muddy…” okay, vague, but he’s more focused on the icing of his pastry, especially as he shoves the eclair into his mouth, being less than polite as he downs the entire thing, “oh– we had plans? isn’t this the plan? complaining and pastries?”

𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤, one of mixed concern and contemplation. “oh, harry, surely things cannot be so bad all the time,” she replies softly, a frown falling across her features. “you said that yesterday -- that it was the worst day.” she adds, taking her apron off. “hm, perhaps we didn’t -- i may have gotten mixed up, it happens from time to time. but, no! no complaining. instead, i propose we take our pastries and we make the bad day into a good one. what say you, harry?” luna asks, her frown forming into a grin as she picks up her backpack from behind the counter and moves to the front area of the store. “it’s a beautiful day out, don’t you think? perhaps we could take a stroll through the park.”

when he heard the shop bell chime signifying someone had entered, luke scrambled to get out from under a truck - only to slam his head and let out a groan as he laid back down. “i’m fine? i think, anyway, what can i do for you while i lay here and wait for this massive headache to happen?”

𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠, carl jumps, startled. loud noises weren’t always easy, especially when he was still having to remind himself that he wasn’t in constant danger anymore. that he wouldn’t see a walker anywhere in town and he didn’t have to be looking over his shoulder all the time. “i got it, boss. i’ll grab an ice pack for your head in a second,” carl replied as he stood up from where he was working to get to the front of the shop. he greets and deals with the customer, and once that’s done with, he returns to luke with a bag of frozen peas and a small towel. “so... there weren’t any ice packs, so i grabbed the next best thing. how’s your head?”

there was a leaf in sirius’s hair as he stumbled into the stark building. a lot of the interns started later in the day and stayed later, more akin to the college sleep schedule, but the two had reversed for him a long time ago. so the sun had only been up for an hour or so as he punched in the code to the building, and he was alarmed to find that the door was already unlocked. he walked in the room slowly, guard up, to see peter sitting down at one of the terminals. “what’s got you here first thing?” @clvmsyhearts​

𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧, peter jumps, startled from not expecting anyone else to show up at this time. it was still pretty early, and his internship was something he was proud of and passionate about. often unable to sleep, it wasn’t unlike him to show up early to work on things. “uh, i could ask you the same thing,” peter replies, glancing over at sirius. he pauses, just for a moment, before he shrugs. “couldn’t sleep. didn’t want to sit at home playing animal crossing ‘til i had to head out for class, as tempting as that is, so... here i am.” he explains. “what about you? couldn’t sleep either or are you just usually up at this time?”

what has your characters life been like prior to the awoken memories?

ciri was raised by her father, geralt, and overall has had a very good upbringing. obi-wan was one of her teachers in middle school. she recently graduated and has been attending college, studying art. she’s also taken up a part time job as a barista in order to help support herself and her father and also pay back her tuition.

at what point of canon is your character’s memories coming from?

ciri is primarily based on the netflix show !!  i’m wanting to continue playing the game as i do own it, but that’ll be more of a work in progress on my part before it take any influence from it as i’m still very early in it !!

how does your character feel about their new memories?

ciri almost wishes things would go back to normal. while most memories of her grandmother, calanthe, and her mother, pavetta, are positive, there’s still many negative memories that are coming back to her. she only vaguely recalls pavetta, considering she died when she was very young, but was obviously quite fond of calanthe. the fall of cintra and invasion of nilfgaard is still fresh in her memories -- and those are, of course, among the things that she wishes to forget again.

ciri is the princess cintra and the daughter of princess pavetta of cintra and lord duny of erlenwald.

her destiny was tied to geralt’s from before she was born, due to him choosing the law of surprise when duny insisted on repayment and pavetta subsequently puking, revealing her pregnancy.

her parents died when she was very young, and since then she had been raised by her grandmother, queen calanthe

she was raised as royalty, seeing as she was calanthe’s only heir to the throne, without any knowledge of being a child of surprise or of geralt of rivia

she was 13 when cintra was attacked and invaded by nilfgaard. the vast majority of the people of cintra were killed because of it, and her grandmother TW: SUICIDE took her own life in order to avoid capture, unbeknownst to her.

she managed to escape and spent the vast majority of her time, prior to finding geralt like her grandmother had told her to, on the run from being captured by the nilfgaardians.

along the way she discovered her abilities as a source, but doesn’t know how to control them properly yet.

𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐮𝐩, as he feels as if it’s about to burst right out of his chest. the idea of lying crosses his mind -- would harry believe him if he said he’d messed around with superglue? -- but... he wasn’t so sure if adding on to an existing secret with more lies was the best idea. he takes a deep breath in as he looks over at his boyfriend. “okay, uh.. just-- just promise me you’re not gonna get mad. please?” he asks, his tone almost pleading as he debates how to word this. “my memories are coming back to me and with that comes my powers and they’re kind of out of whack right now...” he trailed off, pursing his lips. “my point is i’m spider-man, and i’m stuck to the floor and trying not to rip up the carpet with every step because we probably want our damage deposit back eventually,” peter rambles.

“lara.” cassian greeted one of his oldest friends with a nod. the private investigator rubbed his temples one last time before finally opening his eyes. he had no idea how much time had passed since he’d arrived at the diner but he was pretty sure that his coffee had already gone cold. “sorry, my head is killing me and yes, i know, i shouldn’t be drinking coffee.” a chuckle escaped cassian’s lips and he gave lara a small smile. “honestly, i feel like i’ve been hit by a train. or four.” or blast from the death star but cassian didn’t want to tell her that. at least not yet. “are you okay?”

𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝, essentially, been one big lie this whole time getting to him? of course it was. how could it not? he couldn’t help but think about the smaller things, like how he’d never actually attended high school, let alone graduated. since regaining his memories, he’d realized it was a bit easier to deal with smaller things compared to the bigger memories that he definitely didn’t want to think about. sighing, he pushes the thoughts out of his head as he walks into the house after work. “hey, jose,” he greets, smiling over at his sister before he turns to walk to his room, but stops at the base of the stairs. “uh... did you happen to have a weird dream last night, or something?” he asks, scratching the back of his head.
