one of the ways I plan to connect to my nonhumanity in a lifestyle sense is to raise meat rabbits- I've always had a very high prey drive, specifically towards rabbits, and in my current body I'm too slow to chase them down, but raising meat rabbits is kind of perfect? I'm able to ensure my food is healthy and has lived a good life and had a good death, I'm able to satisfy my prey drive by killing prey animals, and I'll have a pretty good supply of meat. I'll need to make sure I live somewhere which allows pets like rabbits, but they don't actually take up that much space, so they're pretty versatile as a meat animal.

I feel like starfish are one of those animals that are treated as very “normal” by people but absolutely shouldn’t be. Like they’re a wheel of repeating heads connected by a central stomach. They walk around using thousands of tiny sticky hydraulically powered tentacles. They have an eye on the end of each arm. Instead of having a mouth they just have an opening where their entire stomach can be pushed out to engulf prey. And they’re just allowed to exist like this. It’s not illegal or anything.

Advice from 2001 I needed to hear

Once you discover what you are, don't try to make yourself fit the mold of that animal(s).  If you are a wolf, don't howl at the moon because you think you are supposed to.  Howl at the moon because you WANT to.  Don't lose your anger and then blame it on your "wolf" side because it's uncontrollable.  Don't EVER blame your wereside for your own actions, EVER.  The wereside is not the harborer of hate, the human counterpart IS.  Nothing has changed since you discovered what you are, so don't start acting the way you think you should.  That is what makes someone out to be a role player.  BE YOURSELF.  Don't mold yourself into a stereotype.

after a while of thinking, I believe I might be either a leopard shark or a smooth duskhound- I'm not really sure which one, but both have behaviors very similar to mine (bottom feeding, eating small crustaceans and occasionally fish) and live in locations that match up with mine (they're both purely coastal and often found in kelp forests, and rarely if ever migrate away from coasts). I think that my swimming style (moving my body akin to a whale) might just be from being in a mammalian body, rather than an indicator of anything- I just have a spine and legs that do that.

I am also considering that I may be some sort of shorebird- I've been having very intense wingshifts lately, but idk any shorebirds that hunt crabs and shelled things solely

Aviankin, I'm curious, where do you feel your wings? I've seen a lot of avians say their wings are on their back like an angel. I personally feel my wings on my arms. Where do you feel them?

For us it depends on which of the avians is fronting. Fungi feels them as arms like a wyvern type thing, I am a creature with 6 limbs so I feel my wings on my back under my scapulas
