STORYBOARD FOR COMMERCIAL
These are my storyboard pages that i made to plan out what my commercial would look like. These were essential is it allowed me to see how i wanted my commercial to look
Logo experimentation
I experimented with my initials in many different fonts and different symbols to create my logo that captures the fun and creativity in my brand. I needed a logo that matched my branding.
My customer is from Paris, France and has Caribbean/Jamaican heritage with a large portion of her family living in Jamaica and the rest of her family living in a large French townhouse. She also has a studio apartment in New York where she lives for most of the year when she isn’t visiting her family in Paris.
My customer is 34 years old, she spent most of her childhood growing up in the Caribbean with her family. Her and her family moved to Paris when she was age 14 due to a business opportunity for her father, so she has spent most of her life in France.
As she has had a successful career so far and her parents own a successful business, she can afford to wear upper high street clothes and often ready-to-wear garments. Some of her favourite brands include Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Prada etc. She also likes thrifting and going to second hand shops for clothes. For her music videos, she commissions seamstresses to make outfits, after these have been used, she usually gets them remade so she can wear them again. She is a seasonal shopper and when she no longer wants clothes that she wears, she either sells them or donates them to charity as she doesn’t agree with fast fashion and is very passionate about making the fashion industry more sustainable.
She is very involved in her work life, she is always making music and coming up with ideas for her band's music videos. She likes to stay at home and chill with her roommate. She loves painting and watching sci-fi films/series especially from the 60s. She is often scouted by model scouts and fashion photographers for her unique looks but has no interest in the modelling industry as she is aware of the toxicity that happens within it. Her main profession is being a singer in a French indie-pop band.
She currently aspires to wear haute couture especially an Avant-garde couture garment. She looks up to highly influential designers such as Iris Van Herpen, Thierry Mugler and Yohji Yamamoto.
