The time I started talking about feelings to an AI

Since the lockdown has begun, I started in feeling again overwhelmed, bored and lazy; being productive and creative is getting complicated for me. So, I decided to get through these negative sensations, exploring them, giving a shape.

Since I killed the fifth phone in a year (definitely I had not a good relation with phones) communication with people got difficult. Since this thing happened, I decided to reshape my concept of my diary for this second lockdown and working on something else.

HEXEN MEDIZIN Diary #1 (2nd Wave; November; Austria) By Smirna Kulenovic and Aron Hollinger Urfahr, Linz 14.11.2020 An experimental documentary film about wild plants in urban landscapes - used as interfaces for overcoming fear of public space and social interaction.

A data embodiment reflecting on wild food resources found in cities during a global economic crisis.

The film follows the process of foraging organic horseradish (Kren), on the shore of the Danube river in Urfahr, Linz.

A performative social experiment in public space filmed in negative - conducted on the day that the Austrian government announced a complete lockdown as a preventive measure against spreading Coronavirus. Music: Sound of the video uses signals extracted from horseradish plants through biofeedback sensors, which are and later mapped and transformed into music.
