Blue Lock: Heartbreak in the striker program

The atmosphere inside Blue Lock had changed. Not because of a speech. Not because of Ego.
But because of one simple fact—
Team Z had survived long enough to reach Team V.
And you were still there.
In the waiting corridor, the tension was familiar.
Yoichi Isagi was quiet, focused on the upcoming match.
Meguru Bachira was bouncing on his heels like nothing in the world could stress him.
But what stood out most— was the silence between three people.
Seishiro Nagi leaned against the wall, staring at you like it was the most normal thing in the world.
Reo Mikage stood beside him, arms crossed, watching her more than the hallway.
“Why is everyone staring like I’m about to disappear?”
“Because you usually end up somewhere unpredictable.”
“I’m literally standing still.”
“That’s what worries me.”
“You didn’t come to Team V.”
“we all got assigned to different ones, but fate decided to put you both together.”
you raise a brow at the purple hair boy.
“why are you acting like it's my fault?.”
Not because you were wrong— but because you weren't. .
Team V’s coordination was perfect.
Nagi’s control of the ball was unreal.
Reo’s passing was precise.
And the rest of Team V moved like a single machine.
On the sidelines, you watched quietly.
No cheering. No shouting. Just observation.
Isagi noticed your focus.
“You’re analyzing them?” he asked during a brief pause.
“That’s a bold statement.”
“It’s not bold if it’s true.”
Bachira appeared beside her.
“Y/N, Y/N! Who do you think is the scariest?”
“You’re loud, not scary.”
Nagi begins to seriously evolve during the match.
His control becomes sharper.
He starts playing less like a lazy genius…
his eyes flick toward you for a split second.
Not long enough for anyone to call it obvious.
Reo starts forcing plays more aggressively.
For something that feels like the trio they used to have.
During one possession, he calls out:
The pass is perfect. Like always. But Nagi hesitates for half a second.
Isagi steals the rhythm immediately.
Goal opportunity created. And the chance is gone.
Reo freezes. Not angry yet. Just confused. Like something didn’t compute correctly. You see it from the side. And your expression tightens slightly.
Bachira enters his unpredictable mode during the match.
Dribbling. Laughing. Creating chaos.
At one point, he ends up next to you again during a brief reset.
“Did you see that?! I almost became a monster!”
“You’re already weird enough without trying.”
“That’s a compliment, right?”
But even he glances toward Nagi and Reo.
And realizes something is off.
Patterns. Gaps. Intentions. And people.
Especially you. Not as a distraction.
But as a constant variable affecting multiple players at once.
“She’s not even playing,” Isagi mutters.
“And she’s still changing the match.”
Nagi evolves fully into his instinct-driven style.
Reo struggles to keep up emotionally with his own decisions.
And you stay on the sidelines the entire time.
Watching everything unfold.
Quietly. Calmly. Too calmly.
At one point, Nagi dribbles past defenders effortlessly.
But instead of shooting immediately—
he pauses. Just slightly.
His eyes flick to the sideline.
That hesitation is enough.
Isagi reads it. Intercepts the timing.
But the match doesn’t feel clean.
Reo walks off first. No celebration. No reaction.
Nagi follows slowly. Not looking back immediately.
You step forward slightly.
“stop being so salty” you say.
“salty? just shut your mouth.”
“Y/n you should probably not.”
“Shut the hell up, don't tell me what to do.”
“Don't blame this whole messed up shit on me.”
Reo gulps as he knows that tone when someone pisses you off.
Nagi shut his mouth immediately.
"what? got nothing to say now?"
Reo and Nagi dont answer.
The speaker on top announces that all teams to go back to their rooms.
You leave , turning away from Nagi and Reo.
That night, Blue Lock continues as usual.
Nagi is thinking more than usual.
Isagi is analyzing everything deeper than before.
Bachira is still smiling…
but watching more carefully.
Thinking about what happened with reo and nagi.
Staring at nothing in particular.
But something came up in your head as you realized something simple.
You didn’t change the match.
But You changed how people played it.
