i saw a post on my dash with image sites that basically was like “it’s okay to use pictures off pinterest etc. for your edits because it’ll be hard for the original photographer to find and sue you,” which, um, made me a bit annoyed, so here is a list of 100% free stock photo sites, many of which have quite aesthetic-y photos! please do not steal photos in your work, guys!

how do you keep from getting disheartened when no one expresses interest in your rp?

it’s unfortunate that this is happening a lot more recently, like it breaks my heart. but here are just a few ways, in my opinion, that can help you stay upbeat and excited about your rp.

post several times daily!  don’t just have one post per day, it gives the impression that the admin isn’t dedicated and could lead into a potential flop. show that you’re dedicated and passionate about your roleplay and what you like! don’t give up!

new theme, new graphics!  i always find it refreshing when i give my blogs a new look, whether it be a new theme and or new graphics, and i’m sure a change of look and style will bring in a lot more traffic! if photoshop isn’t your thing, you can always send in a request to rphs that do theme makeovers! i’m sure they’d love to help you out!

ask for opinions!  there’s nothing wrong with asking an rph about what’s working and not working for your rp. if criticism is involved, don’t take it as harsh, take it as them wanting to help you and wanting to see your rp succeed! but do remember that it is just their opinion, and whether you want to take their opinions is entirely up to you. just make sure that you ask each rph nicely!!!

take a look at your plot!  is there any way that you could expand on your plot, or shorten it so it’s less confusing if you have a lot of information, or can you take a different twist with it? try and play around with different aspects! add a supernatural twist! or a disney twist! or instead of having a small town rp, try out a small haunted town rp! the possibilities are endless!

create an inspiration blog for your rp!  i always find that a super easy way to not lose muse not only for your character, but your rp as well. like, if you have an rp set in a circus setting, then definitely make sure to make a sideblog where you can reblog a lot of circus-y things! that way you get more absorbed into the rp world you’ve created!

overall, these are just my thoughts that you may take into account. i’m sorry if you feel disheartened, but do take in mind that many people are off at school or have jobs, thus making it a bit harder to balance between rp and ooc. but i do hope this helped !!

Yes, I do. Some pages made by theme makers are specifically for standard layout and that's why you see others having navigation pages. Here is a good example. They explain how to use it in the caption.

how do you put in admin images on yout two sides theme?

There should be a box named Admin, if you are in the Customize Page. There you can add pictures using the code:

Change IMAGEURL to the url of the image you will use. Change NAMEOFADMIN to the name of the admin or anything else. You can add as many of those as you want but I suggest maximum four to six. 

This is simple coding so if you're still confused I suggest speaking to an active RPH.

do you take questions regarding your themes? i only ask because i want to know if i can make captions for photos and the footnotes of the posts not show on your theme 'for now'

yes, i still take questions! for photos, go to this section of the coding:

and just remove the underlined parts, therefore removing the captions of photo and photoset posts. you can do this for almost any post, just look for {Caption} i’m not exactly sure what you mean by footnotes though.
