You're not always going to be liked. Despite whether you did something or not, there are going to be people in your life that you have to interact with that do not like you. One person does not define who you. It can feel devastating having someone you have to spend a lot of time around not like you but you can not change it. It's a hard thing to think about but you have other friends that care about you. One person's judgements and opinion of you does not change the countless other people that care about your thoughts, emotions and opinions. Try not to let them get you down.

The lotr fandom is like the book/movies themselves. Everlasting. Never old. There's so much art, fic, edits posted each and every day that sometimes it feels as if it aired yesterday. And even if you take a break from fandom, sometimes for years, it's like coming home. Coming back to the Shire because the fandom garden is still tended to.
