Sierra Suites, now Condemned and unfit for human occupancy.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Abandoned & Condemned Ocean Shore Resort Daytona Beach, Florida. Before & After.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Condemned structure, unfit for human occupancy. The first photo was taken around 2013, the rest are 6/9/2021.
It’s possible one of the owners got sick and passed away or was removed from the home as they were both elderly. One of them then moved from the main residence and into the RV stationed outside of the home assumably because of the situation. It’s unknown what really happened here, but it paints a picture of the unfortunate and sad loss of reality.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Abandoned house, owners passed away in 1997.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Condemned structure unfit for human occupancy. Unclear if there were occupants at the time of condemnation or inspection or if the location was previously abandoned.
It’s clear there was a family living here including young children and teenagers judging by the items left behind. There was no water and it smelled of mildew and filth. The walls left of this home in some spots were merely just the support beams and wood sheets nailed to the outside covered inside by bed cardboard and sheets. The ceilings were all caving in from leaks and there were multiple holes through the home’s roof.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Abandoned and condemned home unfit for human occupancy.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Abandoned home with unfortunately abandoned reptiles. Condemned and unfit for human occupancy.
Home was built in 1924 and will be demolished due to outstanding violations that cannot be fixed.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Police complaint was vague, but filed to the city. Assuming there were complaints about activity in the abandoned home, code enforcement was sent out to observe the property. There’s interesting messages painted on the walls and what appears to be stolen bicycles throughout the property. It’s deemed unfit for human occupancy and now condemned due to multiple code violations and conditions too dangerous to risk.
Daytona Beach, Florida
Fire structure condemned by the city two weeks after the fire, deemed unfit for human occupancy. Structure is now unfortunately demolished. None of the occupants or their dog were hurt, but the losses were upwards of $35,000 including medications for cancer treatment lost to the fire. The American Red Cross were quick to assist them and they are safe and continue to heal from this tragic event. The family has organized a GoFundMe to help with expenses. For more information, I’ve provided source links.
