So Dick is trained by Ted Grant. Ted Grant (Wildcat!) is a master boxer who is skilled at Capoeira, Hapkido, Krav Maga, and Muay Thai (hence him telling Dick to use his knees and elbows). In main continuity, one of Dick’s main styles is Capoeira due to its acrobatic nature, so it’s nice seeing Dick getting back in touch with that. Hapkido is another great style because of how well-rounded it is. It has kicks, hand strikes, throws, grapples, and joint locks, so it’s not a narrow discipline by any means. Can’t wait to see Dick kick some ass.
