went to USPF for the student congress (PSITE) thing. was pretty cool. talks on emerging tech and AI, firebase (database/framework thing?). had free snacks and that’s always nice.
walked back to uni. hella hungry, but also stoked about bb. comsci. chan had to finish her cosplay outfit and told us to go first, but we waited anyway.
checked the pageant venue- no more seats taya )-: my stomach kept growling throughout the whole thing so skipped the qna session to eat dinner bc food > crossdressing kouhais (i was reaaaaally hungry ok)

no attendance required for any of the activities today so chill’d at home before prepping to go to uni in the afternoon to help chan with her cosplay

arrived in uni (in formal (read: hot) attire, may i add- thank god for AC) early since our web app was chosen to be part of the Programming Expo so had to prepare. honestly do not know why we get asked to do these things we’re so lame i swear
presentation went well. our app (Forget Me Note) is a web application that combines RPG/adventure elements and 8 bit to create an avenue for professors and students to keep track of their academic priorities and whatnot. so yeah, kind of useful and relevant, I hope???
wanted to go with chan to colon to buy her cosplay stuff to return the favor she did for me yesfor yesterday’s excursion but it was so hot omg she said no so i stayed in uni ): probably would’ve just slowed her down anyway now that I think about it
got dragged into joining Minute to Code It (programming competition where students literally have a minute to code a problem) with three other fourth year students. team name: Big O Team

pretty much just made a mess out of the contest: writing random and ridiculous code (that we knew wouldn’t run), using functions that didn’t exist, etc
got third place somehow wtf
also got a gift cert + cert for mentoring the Interhigh Programming Contest? haha?? yo i didn’t help much lol thought i wasn’t in it but ok kids won third as well so whooo
used prize money for fries party. no ragrets

(lol we’ve had like 3 meetings and ive been late for all of them excluding the orientation)
just realised that 124 lec is only for an hour, so whenever I come in at 10 (expecting there would be a good 30 minute discussion left) class is already dismissed gg will do better next time, promise!

had lit 1 class in the morning. short orientation on subject syllabus followed by lecture. first group assignment given. yaAaAaAaAaay fun.
finally got to eat in the japanese rice bowl place near uni! katsudon so cash, was so good mang.
lab class was cancelled so went to Ayala with the usual people. spent four-ish hours waiting for prez to buy a notebook gg
left Ayala to check out the ramen place in escario. shit so expens. ate in burger king instead then went to my place to do codework for 124 due midnight.
Chan used my laptop since she didn’t bring hers. probably should have asked if I could finish the problem first since I’m retarded and wouldn’t be able to complete it during the short time after she finished.
