And another revenge! This time featuring @craniumknight's Skarn on an informative poster. I'm not sure why, I just wanted to make a little sign for them, like the ones you see at the park reminding you to pick up your litter, hehe! I got a little silly with it, ehe.
Please check out Knight's super cute attack on Mohs and Lari here!
Tumblr keeps crashing while I type for this post, so last attempt at making this!
A quick, rough sketch for my head canon about Hearthian anatomy. The big hole on the sides of the skull makes way for more muscle anchor points. The teeth I was inspired by the beaks of parrots and falcons, as well as the teeth of Dunkleosteus. A lot of the food items I noticed in playthroughs gave me the idea that they were still primarily piscivores, and I thought it’d be a great idea to give them teeth designed specifically for slicing through flesh!
Plus, it’d give them a wicked threat “smile” to go with the more gentle/friendly, genuine smile. They know they’re capable of taking a chunk out of someone, and choose not to unless given reason to!
Solanum if youre out there. i would love to stargaze with you

Commission for @dekkiidan of their OC Mohs. First ever commission complete, HUZZAH!!
YESSSS EVERYONE PERCEIVE THIS RIGHT NOWWWWW!
You went above and BEYOND with this commission:- the model itself is just gorgeous, and the render is incredible! Mohs looks like they've jumped right out of Timber Hearth in-game!
I also want to point out to folks the seamless work on the bandana and shirt plaid - it's AMAZING!
Y'all, if you want some 3D model work done, please please please consider checking out Brian's work! Fantastic from start to finish.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING MOHS REAL!!!!
finished forgotten castaways. cool mod. i recommend it..... (ಥ‿ಥ)b
As promised! A little very rudimentary turnaround of the Protoesker!
I had a lot of fun with this project and am already working on my next 3D model for printing, hehe >::3c
My first ever animatic! I'm quite happy with how it came out hehe-
this does follow the timeline of my AU but not exactly, I wanted it to be my au but I also wanted it to be vague enough to just be a outer wilds animatic- anyway YAAAY OUTER WILDS ANIMATIC!! AND LORD HURON!! YAAAY
the attlerock!
wish i could go camping on the moon in a lil crater with a tree grove.
Hey folks!
We've been working hard behind the scenes on our first official geological report of Timber Hearth! You may not know exactly what goes into a geological survey report, but here are some examples of what you can expect to see in our field notebooks! ;;)
Diagrams, survey notes, geological histories, stratigraphic logs and, of course, Mohs' top rated Timber Hearth tasty treats are all waiting for you in our upcoming publication.
There's a lot of work that goes into surveying, analysing, and writing up all of our field-work, so in the meantime we have a fun mini-series to get to know the inhabitants of Timber Hearth - Hearthian Highlights!
Every Friday, you can vote for a Hearthian of your choosing, and the following Wednesday we will post a selection of fun geological facts in relation to their namesake, allowing you to get to know them on a more personal basis!
Thank you so much to everyone who has engaged with our project so far, we have loads of stuff lined up for 2026, including more survey streams, write-ups, and of course our major reports.
Our askbox is also always open, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop us a line!
Catch you in the next loop! The OWGS Team

Redesigned my outer wilds sona, Basalt!!! They study now and play a handpan ::]
also yes, I'm aware that they look nothing like their original design but whatever,,,
Decided to do a test print of my little Protoesker model - and they came out relatively well!
I didn't really optimise the file for printing, so it was very tricky to remove the supports from under their body and their hat, but with a bit of brute force and some unsafe use of a kitchen knife I managed it! Unfortunately, I did snap off some of their tail membrane in the process.
Planning to sand and paint them tomorrow!
I'll be optimising the file for 3D printing later on and making them available on Thingiverse if you want to print your own ::3
Mug for scale!

hi this is for the!! awesome!! @straweepy!! for the @outerwilds-events quantum entanglement exchange! i had lots of fun with this one ::]
pieces of a new beginning
yay! here's my piece for @seaturtle240 for the quantum entanglement exchange hosted by @outerwilds-events!
I drew their ocs, Zircon and the Machine!
Not finished yet but getting there!
Kind of sad I wasn’t quite able to accurately replicate Bowe’s ear notches here but, my gosh, they were so difficult to do! Hopefully I’ll learn some tips and tricks as I get more confident with the software! For now, they can have some random notches, hehe!
Still need to do all their forehead markings, and add their hat! But so far I’m pretty pleased with the progress I’ve made! ::3
I’m not sure how many hours I spent on this little guy but Proto-Esker is all done!
I’m so pleased with how they turned out! Modelled in Nomad Sculpt and hand painted and textured in Procreate. Shown with standard and environmental lighting, hehe!
