A week-long prompt-submission style event dedicated to the pairing of Captain Rex, Commander Cody, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Our inaugural season starts January 6, 2025!

Hi. Event is supposed to start on Sunday. I’m so sorry I haven’t promoted this event like it deserved but I had a loss (for those who aren’t aware) and it’s been rough.

I’ll try to stay on top of the event for anyone participating. I apologize sincerely for not being a better mod.

Prompt Announcement!

Hello, all! Thank you all for your submissions! We didn't get a ton so we opted not to do an elimination round (tbf, we were maybe a tad ambitious this year). The ones we did get were amazing and wonderful and we hope they inspire some wonderful Codexwan creations!

As a reminder, you'll have 8 weeks to create something for the event. We have 3 prompts per day, so you have options on what you might like to do across the week.

Codexwan week starts April 6 and runs to April 12. We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Prompt Week FAQ

How does a prompt submission work?

There will be an initial prompt submission, lasting two weeks, where everyone can submit their favorite prompts. This will be done via a Google Form. You do not need a Google account to participate.

We will be accepting prompts in the form of standard word prompts.

How many prompts will there be per day?

There will be 2-3 prompts to choose from per day, depending on the amount of submissions. The Prompt Week will run for 7 days.

What content is allowed in the Prompt Week?

All fanworks are allowed for the Codexwan Prompt Week, so long as: (1) it is Codexwan; (2) it satisfies the prompt you are aiming to fill. All ratings are allowed, but all content must be rated. You are more than welcome to combine any of the prompts into your creation!

This applies to, but is not limited to:

Fanfic

Fanart

Moodboard

Gifsets/Icons

Poetry

Podfics

Fanmixes

Fanvids or Fanedits

Can you define “Codexwan”?

For this Fest we are defining “Codexwan” as: (1) a romantic relationship between Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and Obi-Wan Kenobi; (2) a queer-platonic relationship between Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and Obi-Wan Kenobi; (3) a sexual relationship between Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and Obi-Wan Kenobi; (4) a familial relationship between Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and Obi-Wan Kenobi; (5) a “situationship”/relationship without labels between Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and Obi-Wan Kenobi – basically, GO NUTS! So long as the content focuses on the relationship (however you want to define it) of Cody, Rex, and Obi-Wan, it’s all good. 

Let no one tell you your version of a relationship is not valid!!

How long does my fanwork have to be?

There is no minimum requirement for Prompt Week!

Can my fanwork be a continuation/sequel/etc?

Absolutely! So long as you can apply the prompt to your fanwork, go for it!

How many fanworks do I have to create for the Fest?

You can create as many, or as few, as you would like to. There are no minimums or maximums to participate in the event in terms of content created.

What tags should I use if I post to Tumblr?

Please use the “#codexwanpromptweek” tag! (no spaces, tumblr is mean)

What are the important dates for 2025?
