Some things are only just as good as what they're made of. It's easy to think we can take shortcuts and use lower quality materials and produce something that will last but it just doesn't work like that. You should see my wife sourcing materials for the bags she mages over at @burstintobloomblog . She spends about the same amount of time researching and testing as she does constructing each clutch. This knife was made by my father when I was a teen and it still holds an edge like none other. That man knows his stuff and he used some of the best steel you can get.
