Thanksgiving meme game on point.
This was entirely too easy.
We opened and closed Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios. 4 combined Butterbeers. 8 combined roller coasters partially blacked out on. 14 rides ridden. 4 very sore feet. It was awesome. (at Islands of Adventure)
Butterbeer in front of Hogwarts. NBD. (at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Universal Orlando Resort))
Private beach today. (at Daytona Beach Florida Atlantic Ocean)
Pie Five Pizza Company is like Chipotle for pizzas. You order at a service bar and have tons of options. This is a personal pan pizza with spicy marinara, mozzarella, ricotta, meatball, mushroom, sun dried tomato, and pesto. It is amazing. $7 regardless of how many toppings you get. (at Pie Five Pizza)
Made it! View from the balcony. (at Nautilus Inn)
Dad watches that Shia LaBeouf video for the first time.
Nephew.
Got hungry running errands. Wanted Panda. They didn't open for 10 minutes. I waited. Worth it.
Sometimes I get bored and I call people out on Mercari that are trying to rip off unsuspecting buyers and heckle them until they block me. So I guess I'm pretty cool now.
All three of my fantasy team names are pretty solid this year. Julius Peppercorn is that third one obviously.
The Kanye show was definitely unlike anything I had ever seen. To start, the show was supposed to start at 8. They didn’t even start letting people in until 8:20 and then the show didn’t actually start until 9:30. Once we sat down, we quickly realized there was no stage. After the lights drop and come back on, we see Kanye, who is tethered to this floating platform that slowly travels above the entire crowd on the floor. The lights and set up were pretty insane. Things got even more weird after that. Kanye sporadically had issues with his mic cutting out, which led to him performing the first song, starting the second song and then stopping it so that he could restart the first song and try it again. He later stopped another song halfway through because a person in the crowd lost a shoe. A couple songs later, he cut a song to yell at security for interfering with the crowd. He then restarted the song and wound up cutting it again to kick someone out that threw something on stage. He then restarted the same song a THIRD time and then wound up stopping AGAIN because the song was “too much” for us. At one point, a song started and he was like, “Nope, next,” and he skipped it altogether. He performed some awesome songs and the stage set up was crazy, but I definitely walked away scratching my head about everything I had just witnessed. I guess that’s probably normal for a Kanye show though. (Note: these are not my pictures. We weren’t this close. Just wanted to show how cool the “stage” was.
Finally tracked down that new Frank Ocean album.
Copilot.
Yoko is really into the Olympics.
We cut Yoko's hair last night and she looks like a puppy again.
