Irving azoff and his parent company are extremely well known for breaking up a band and creating a solo break out star. I have the screen shots of every band that went through this but at the moment I can't locate them but it's public information if you look up you'd be able to find the info. the mo of azoffs is to do this. Shorty after haylor (one d got world wide attention as taylor was already so big) we can see harry hanging out with Jeff. Out of ot5 Louis, Zayn and Harry had the star quality let's face it. Louis & Zayn seemingly would have refused to go along with a solo plan (I'm not a solo stan of any of them I'm just assuming based on their popularity scale amongst the fans) as we know louis didn't even want the hiatus and zayn left the band for the right reasons. Besides they're also known for standing up and speaking up with no bs stance, meaning they wouldn't have just agreed to go along with azoffs. Now Harry in 2013 was naive, he probably did not understand the extremities of the industry and went along with it. Because it's obvious azoffs needed a star not exclusively Harry. Solo harry agenda rolled out in 2013 the drastic change in the band with harry the frontman happened. Fans didn't want to see it then, even I didn't. all the scandals, hendall etc. All of Harry's "industry connections" came along with azoffs it's scary when you find out how everyone involved with Harry is somehow under the wing of Irving. Even now Harry truly believes these industry people are his friends, seemingly he believes everything they tell him that's why he has developed this huge ego that he's better than rest of ot5 so it's fine when he steps over them for his career as they won't be successful anyway. If he has a downfall it'll certainly be because of these exact people.
I don't even need to mention sony stringer family has been the CEOs for decades. Like Micheal Jackson rightly said "sony kills music". Meaning they under invest their other artists to promote one with all the manufactured radio and playlist deals.
