Vent blogging, feel free to ignore.

Work has been frustrating and I think my health is being impacted and honestly I low key wouldn’t mind having a flare-up this month. My old boss and my new boss are also super burnt out and we don’t know how to press the restart button for 2023. Initiatives from last year are dragging on and this years big audit is around the corner.

I feel like I would have been suffering big time if I stayed in my old job but my new jobs isn’t too much different. Everyone is tired of working hard and we all need a break.

Even simple tasks are seemingly impossible. For example I had to go through a team of people and complete paperwork just to reserve a classroom that doesn’t even have internet or audio/visual capabilities.

The most annoying people in our division were supposed to retire but didn’t so now we have to hear another year of old white men complaining about politics and football. I’d feel differently if they actually did valuable work but they don’t.

Don’t get me wrong my work group has made many steps forward in the right direction in 2022, but there is still so much work to be done. I’m already working overtime and we are fully staffed right now. There is no reason we should be this busy.

I’m tired and my body hurts and I will probably end up deleting this. I want to leave the workforce and be a stay a home wife and maybe it will happen in 2027.
