cy was the one that gave the reason why the answer is indeed an ‘o’ (true).

but as cy begins to speak,,, ji is still looking at ksoo. you can clearly see ksoo points at cy for ji to look at him.

ji is all shy after cy exposed him. after that, ksoo raised his hand… idk maybe to add something to what cy said??? lol bcs he lives with jongin even before their debut unitl now, ji is waiting for his sooldier hyung. that’s why he got a lot of stories to tell about topless ji, but sadly ksoo was unnoticed that time.

Yeah, I wasn’t really talking about the past. I was talking about where they are now. I don’t see that we disagree in that case.

EXO has matured. They were a wiggly mess in the early days (but totally awesome so don’t come @ me y’all), trying to figure it all out and how to work as a team, please their fans, and put on a good show.

It was probably a difficult balancing act to remain genuine as well.

PCY and BBH have stopped the over-the-top fan-servicey-bugging of KS for the most part. They were into all the fanservice, as were the others to a lesser degree, including JI (never with KS though and that was one thing that set them apart - they shipped themselves).

But KS never was into that fan-service stuff and could get quite irritated for sure. So in that respect, I guess he did kind of get that reputation.

But like I said, they have matured and have each found their place. So I don’t think it is fair to keep painting him (or any of the members) with that same brush. I think the previous Anon was probably trying to address her frustrations that people still do sometimes.

But if they still bug him, he just gives him “the Look.” Job done.

May this theory R.I.P.

TBH this theory was always a bit of a stretch since we were dealing with only one tangible side of the theory (this picture) and trying to tie it in to the Kaisoo apartment theory because it was possible. A lot of research and collaboration went into the idea but also a lot of “filling in the blanks” had to be done to make it work (as with most theories). The revelation that this is a dorm apartment doesn’t really surprise me as much as the dorm itself (more on that to come).

Sorry it didn’t pan out, I tried to emphasize that it was a theory after all, but I am sorry regardless, as I encouraged everyone to believe in it by hoping for it myself and working so hard to provide evidence, real or theoretical.

As many of you have already figured out I am sure, the shots below show that this dinner must have taken place in the dorm. Here are some visual details tying it together:

Which apartment - upstairs or downstairs??

I used stills from the video of the apartment Junmyeon is in (which I believe is the downstairs dorm) because it seems to be identical. However, I am going to say that Sehun/KS dinner was in the upstairs apartment, not downstairs (oh no, another theory!). I just used the video to line up the picture to show how it matches the apartment layout.

Why do I think this?

It makes sense to me that KS would cook in his own (dorm’s) kitchen upstairs where he knows where everything is and will have his usual supplies on hand, rather than rifle around cupboards looking for basic ingredients.

Also, comparing the two close-ups below, the Sehun/KS picture shows a very organized and uncluttered kitchen versus one piled with stuff all over the counters. My bet is that the tidy one is KS’s dorm kitchen.

Also, a minor “proof” is that the table is situated differently in the Sehun/Ks photo than in the Junmyeon still shot. Given that Jongin appears to be in the other apartment with the table turned the same as the dinner photo, I am going to say it is the same place, the upper apartment. Interesting both apartments have the same table and chairs, just arranged differently (which turns out to be quite helpful!).

But obviously I have no real way of knowing where this meal actually took place (up or down), other than from the photos and video we have at our disposal. Just connecting the visual dots because I love the challenge.

Oh, and just so you don’t think that I have become too level-headed: I wholeheartedly believe JI took that dinner picture. 👀 😜

[Backstory #09] DRAWING

The mango thing actually happened when I was in kindergarten. And when I was in grade school, my teacher asked us to draw our vision of Earth 2020. My friend’s drawing of earth is highly advanced while I draw the end of the world. I got a really low grade. I also joined a drawing contest when I was in grade school and I was expecting that I will win but I didn’t. I drew a picture of a mom and daughter preparing for a meal while they wait for their dad to come home. I was seriously irritated at that time that I asked the principal for an explanation why I didn’t win. Apparently, drawing a mom and daughter “only” does not mean a “happy family”. You know what drawing won? A stick figure of a family holding hands. Fvck this sh!t

Anyway, even I find my younger self weird and disturbing. Though I kinda missed her. I missed thinking outside the box and not conforming to the norm. Now I’m just a corporate slave trying to survive in this harsh world. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Back during the old kpop generation there was a same sex couple inside a kpop group (not very popular but still). Imagine now with the amount of groups active today.

Do you know that thai show 2tog**, its seem the author is an &xol and the 12 was because of ks and there some interrogate tomorrow reference or something, and the couple seem to have some kd match. Maybe s*m knows that people are noticing that and are afraid of kd stans rise. Idk. It always impress me kd power into lgbt contend. Like in webtoons that are very kd drawing inspiration (december rain the mc are kd totally). Kd power is something.

First of all thank you for mentioning this series. I watched all the episodes a few hours ago and, although is really cliche, it got me hooked af.

It really has a fanfic vibe in it, like a fic that came to life. I don’t doubt old famous fics were inspiration for it (and I’m definitely not complaining).

i'm a bit confused with kai.. in the recent interview he said that he refused the variety show offer because he want people to take him seriously (because of that 2 panty joke) when seeing him performed & maybe he dont want people to think that he's a comedian because it kinda ruin his charisma but at the same time he stick with his teddy bear persona which is from his fans?? i just dont get it sometimes he contradict his own word with his action..why i feel it sm who actually reject the offer?

It’s obvious SxM doing. They always wanted to match Kai persona when he dances from the way he talks and acts (as a serious womanizer guy). Fortunately for us it was never achieved perfectly making a difference between who’s Kai and Jongin (and giving us moments like panty one). But it brings consequences, of course.

I don’t think it’s contradictory but totally the opposite. It explains perfectly many aspects and who’s behind it.

Do you think ksoo gonna renew his contract with S M after his military service? What about that blacklist thingy?

In my opinion it’s possible, but it can be also unlikely. And I don’t say it because “he always showed displeasure towards the group” or simply he’s doing more acting activities than singing ones.

In my vision, their own company wants ex0 to become irrelevant. They’re at the time to go to the military already and now it was revealed Ch*n is married and has a kid. Although there’s nothing wrong with it, for fans it’s a reality shock and gives a light about their idol years ending.

Other point that gives me this thought is how his role as main vocal decreased over the years. When they ex0 debuted, his talent was obvious. It continued this way until 2016 more or less when he had the opportunity to sing Stronger. After that, the songs didn’t give the opportunity to bring him on spotlight in terms of singing ability. CB+ debuted in October 2016 (which did a huge favor in terms of making Xium*n shine but for those who expected Kyun*soo in a subunit it was a disappointment). Now other members of original vocal line have solos while Kyung*soo is the only one who had a simple Station song. That went really well but still.

The impression it gives is that Kyung*soo got into the industry because of his singing skills but after some years he’s not doing activities of the sort. So, adding to the fact ex0 is being put aside by their own company, it would make sense if Kyung*soo didn’t renew with them to continue as an Ex0 member.

For me, there’s 40% of chance he will just leave SM for good and just look for other agency. But there’s also two possibilities: one of him not renew as an Ex0 member but only as Do Kyung*soo and let them take care of his acting. It would make sense since through them, he can get a variety of projects and have the perk of being behind a huge company who can shield him. For me it’s a 30%. Another 30% of chances could be him simply not leaving at all and renewing with Ex* for a few years. In general, the renewals are shorter periods, so he could stay a bit longer and do both as he did before. Continue active, doing few comebacks like SJ is those days.

It’s impossible to know the future, especially because we don’t know all the struggles they members had gone through and how ex0’s future can be negotiated. But I’m waiting for what his response will be, that’s for sure.
