santigold - disparate youth (2012)

santigolds sound is something i idolize. her sound is very addicting. self titled and master of my make-believe are very worth listening and have great sonics and soundsystem. first song i heard from her was L.E.S. Artistes and have been hooked ever since. this track is very inspiring and aura that is felt is positively indescribable. first listening to this i was giving goosebumps. her voice along with the melodic instrumental has a really good vibe that you can most definitely have on when kicking it.

the neptunes are the greatest thing that has happened to music. i live and die by their tracks. most of their tracks will always have your head bobbin’. #2 on clones will always be a favorite. this is not a busta rhymes song. this is a great collaboration between great artists. i always appreciate such things. what draws me to music, in general, is without a doubt the beat and how it makes you feel. it can be any genre. i think that’s what makes me admire the neptunes sound as well as pharrells sound. so much influence that surpasses music. chad hugo has much responsibility on his sound and cannot be discredited.

playboi carti - molly (circa 2018-2019 i believe)

this song had me so anticipated. i wanted this more than anything. when i heard the first leak on vlonetroops on youtube, i could not believe what was flowing through my ears. pierre bourne and playboi carti are a very dangerous duo. playboi carti is one of my all time favorites and i love the evolution his music has gone through. carti has great influence on me and most of my friends. we listen to him religiously. first hearing molly, i somehow felt pain through carti’s voice. i really enjoyed this track and really hope for WLR.

you can just tell how his music is heavily influenced from 60s-70s psychedelic rock. the drums and bass gives you the feeling you are in the room with ringo and paul. regardless of the era the track is giving off, the modern engineering is superb. i am a true fan of impalas music. many believe he is overrated. however, i understand that due to the small amount of “clout” he has attained. listeners will consider someone “overrated” after them acquiring “clout”. nonetheless, i believe that music should be appreciated for what it is. listening to this gives me rebellion vibes.

soulphiction - when radio was boss (2013)

i like house. definitely not mainstream house although, there are a few here and there i’ll enjoy. this track has such a nice semi-atmospheric vibe that it makes you feel like you are almost at the entrance of heaving whilst dance hopping. jackmate also known as soulphiction, creates amazing dance tracks and this is by far one of my favorite by his. the radio cuts between the track gives it a nice vibe and shows how radio used to be the place to listen to music. it had great respect. listening to this moves me to thinking of a significant person as well. reminiscing of past relationships and love as well as lust.
