i only passed on the info i got, and the sources in some cases may have been biased no doubt

but i'm happy more reliable people have confirmed about the rewrite at the end of season 5 because so many were sure i made that up despite giving riverdale spoilers for that whole season and being right

Not sure why you feel it’s your job to try to ruin the end of the show with your “sources”. Until the final episodes air anything else is your opinion. Do you need attention? Well you got it, Zumpie is hanging on every word and she’s the biggest liar of them all. Not someone I would want in my court.

a moment of honesty

for those barchies wondering why bugheads/varchies are happier with an open ending...

the reason is because of a cast relationship that's literally the best outcome. i think bughead/varchie were always gonna get the same ending whether it was both endgame or an open ending, as in key moments roberto will always revert back to that core four best friends endgame and barchie just doesn't fit into that as well

could barchie have been endgame? absolutely, but putting them together with more than one season remaining ended that. the best thing barchie had going for itself was the unknown. once people saw them together they lost all hype, and they were boring as hell let's be honest

barchie managed to lose a race they were the only runner in. they fell over, busted their knee and had to be carried away on a stretcher by barchiedaily in shame, that's how much roberto didn't rate them

bugheads/varchies know they got the best of riverdale, the better story, and the show ends with people wanting them, not barchie. and an open ending doesn't take away from that, it only adds to it. that's why they're happier.

So them breaking up was good for the show, and allowed them to finally do something else.
