That is fantastic! I assure you that it will be worth it by the end, that is what I am telling myself. On days where I am tired from work and then evening classes on top of it, I remind myself that in the future I will be grateful that I worked this hard now. I definitely understand, and it doesn’t help that I am a huge perfectionist. Whenever I have to do a project or just type up something for work, I go over it and change it multiple times before I am happy with it. I am still getting better of knowing when I can be done and step away for good from a task. It’s baby steps, haha.
Wise words to live by and a statement I couldn’t agree more with. It might be a little rough right now to have so much on the plate, but it will hopefully make things in the future so much easier. Got job experience for the resume, education at the ready, all set to take on the world. I can certainly relate to being a perfectionist because I’m the same when it comes to my assignments. I cannot possibly tell you how long I’ve worked on presentations or papers to make sure everything is just so. It comes in handy sometimes yet it’s a slippery slope to getting hung up over various things. Baby steps indeed towards learning to go with the flow.
