Well, you’d be surprised. Some of the boys in Spencer’s life have just been straight up asses and they’ve been completely aware of it too. But, I’m very glad to hear that. You sound genuine, and I appreciate that.
What always kind of gets me is when she’s surprised when I say or do certain things, like she’s not used to being treated that way, I don’t know. The same goes for you though, you’re genuine, you’re caring and I appreciate that as well.

No, I feel like all of those facts are very important things to know about you. They were the first things you thought about, so they’re clearly of some significance. Spencer and I have been talking about y'all’s relationship lately, and from what I’ve heard it sounds like you’re a pretty stand up guy that I can trust my best friend with. I just need you to know that I really need you to not mess this up with her. Spencer deserves the world and then some, and sometimes she doesn’t see that. She’s been with some real jerks in her past relationships and I really hope you don’t turn out to be another one.
First and foremost, I just want to say thank you for caring about her the way you seem to. She does deserve the world and more, and that’s not just about me or whichever guy she winds up with, but about the friends and family surrounding her. As far as me and my deal, no guy is going to sit here and tell his girlfriend’s friends that he’s a jerk, so I can’t imagine my own vouching for my character will do much, but I love her very much. As cheesy as this will sound, I’ve never known a happiness like making her smile, so frankly I intend on doing that for as long as she’ll allow me to.

For sure, I live in Jersey actually, not far from New York, so I was telling Spence whenever she wants to visit the two of you, or whoever else, whether she brings me along or not she has a place to stay. It sounds like it, I've met some of the group, slowly working my way through everyone. Glad to hear someone who knows he so well saying that, I assure you she makes me just as happy. Oh man, I feel like I’m speed dating. I like long walks on the beach and cande lit dinners, no, I’m kidding. Um, let’s see, I make sub-par jokes and laugh at them myself, I’m studying International Relations and National Security Studies, I’ve got two years left until graduation.
